WAKE-UP CALL: Part 2 – Persecution & PERSEVERANCE; Come out of Babylon! The HARDENED (STONE) HEART

15 October 2025

We are today proceeding with the WAKE-UP CALLS.

If you have not read PART 1 please do that first as it provides important background information to the following important Biblical terminology:

• ISRAEL as an UNDIVIDED KINGDOM;
• THE HOUSE OF ISRAEL as part of the DIVIDED KINGDOM of ISRAEL;
• GENTILES BEING GRAFTED INTO THE HOUSE OF ISRAEL;
• THE HOUSE OF JUDAH as part of the DIVIDED KINGDOM of ISRAEL; and
• THE WHOLE HOUSE OF ISRAEL as part of the RE-UNITED KINGDOM of ISRAEL (There will ultimately be ONE FLOCK with ONE SHEPHERD John 10:16).

If we are able to grasp these different forms/ transformations of the KINGDOM of ISRAEL, the Word of Abba Father opens up to us ensuring a much clearer and deeper understanding. Therefore I pray that we will be BLESSED in the same way as Yeshua our Messiah blessed His disciples after His resurrection and shortly before His ascension in Luke 24:44-45 by saying: ”…This is what I meant when I was still with you and told you that everything written about Me in the Torah of Moses (Genesis to Deuteronomy), the Prophets and the Psalms had to be fulfilled. Then He opened their minds, so that they could understand the Tanakh (the Old Testament)… ”

In PART 1 we focused on the following issues of GREAT CONCERN in the here and now we live in:

1. EXTREME DECEPTION;
2. FALSE PROPHETS and SHEPHERDS;
3. ABBA FATHER’s REQUIREMENT OF HIS WATCHMEN;
4. THE TRUMPETS THAT ARE BLOWING TO WAKE US UP, and
5. THE SHIFT IN RELIGION.

And today we are going to start focusing on WHAT WE SHOULD DO IN PREPARATION FOR THIS TIME that is coming upon us very quickly to MAKE SURE, we BUILD THE ARK (as instruction by Abba Farther, like Noah did) and GO IN TO THE ARK, BEFORE ABBA FATHER CLOSES THE DOOR HIMSELF!

So what is this in ESSENCE ALL ABOUT?

In Revelation chapters 2-3 Yeshua our Messiah has a message for the SEVEN CONGREGATIONS with commends and warnings for each and we read in Revelation 3:10b Yeshua saying to the congregation of Philadelphia: “Because you DID OBEY MY MESSAGE ABOUT PERSERVERING (persisting, continuing, enduring), I will keep you from the time of TRIAL coming upon THE WHOLE WORLD TO PUT THE PEOPLE LIVING ON EARTH TO THE TEST.”

So it seems that only one group/ congregation of believers, out of the SEVEN CONGREGATIONS will be protected from going through the TRIALS along with the rest of HUMANITY in order to TEST them.

So let’s take a closer look at the reasons why the CONGREGATION of PHILADELPHIA will be kept from the time of TESTING. We read the following in Revelation 3:7-10:

• They have LITTLE POWER (control, influence, authority), yet they have OBEYED Yeshua’s message and have NOT DISOWNED (renounced, denied, rejected) HIM;
• Yeshua loves them – we know that He tells us in John 14:15 and John 17:6-8 that LOVING HIM, equals BEING OBEDIENCE TO HIM/ THE WORD (remember: HE IS THE WORD according to John 1:1-14 and Revelation 19:13). And he said in John 8:31-32 we are truly HIS DISCIPLES when we OBEY what He say and then we will know the TRUTH (the WORD) and the TRUTH (the WORD) will set us free.
• They are willing to PERSERVERE (to persist, continue and endure even in the face of difficulty).

It is therefore clear that the CONGREGATION OF PHILADELPHIA represents a group/ congregation of believers who have little authority, influence or control over other people but they WILL NOT renounce, deny or reject Yeshua the Messiah, they OBEY ABBA FATHER’s WORD and they PERSERVERE persist, continue and endure in their BELIEF in Yeshua the Messiah.

There are many verses about perseverance in the WORD:

In Matthew 10 Yeshua our Messiah warned His twelve disciples when He send them out, alluding to all future disciples saying in verses 16-20: “Pay attention! I am sending you out like sheep among wolves, so be prudent (cautious, alert, careful) as snakes and as harmless (inoffensive, unoffending) as doves. Be on guard, for there will be people who will hand you over to the local Sanhedrin (the local Council) and flog (whip, beat) you in their synagogues (meeting places, places of worship). On My account you will be brought before governors (councils, senates, committees) and kings (rulers) as a testimony (witness) to them and to the Gentiles (non-Jewish people). But when they bring you to TRIAL, do not worry about what to say or how to say it; when the time comes, you will be given what you should say. For it will not be just you speaking, but the Spirit of your Heavenly Father speaking through you. (These words are similar to what Yeshua said in Revelation 2:8-10 to the Congregation of Smyrna).

We further read in Matthew 10:21-23 “A brother will betray his brother to death, and a father his child; children will turn against their parents and have them put to death. EVERYONE will HATE you because of ME but WHOEVER HOLDS OUT TILL THE END WILL BE PRESERVED FROM HARM. When you are PERSECUTED (mistreated, victimized, oppressed) in one town, run away to another. Yes indeed; I tell you, you will not finish going through the towns of ISRAEL (the Northern Kingdom, the Ten Tribes under Ephraim who were dispersed among the nations) before the Son of Man comes (before the Second Coming of Yeshua the Messiah).”

Yeshua further tells them in Matthew 10:28-30 “Do not fear those who kill the body but are powerless to kill the soul rather, fear Him who can destroy both soul and body in Gei-Hinnom (a word used to indicate hell) Aren’t sparrows sold for next to nothing, two for an assarion (similar to a penny, indicating a small amount of money), yet not one of them will fall to the ground without your Father’s consent (his permission, authorization, agreement). As for you, every hair on your head has been counted. So do not be afraid, you are worth more than many sparrows.  ” Also read Luke 21:12-13 where it is again confirmed that during the TRIBULATION in the LAST DAYS/ END TIMES believers will be persecuted because of Yeshua our Messiah but it will provide an opportunity to bear witness of Him and then He tells us in verses 14-19 “So make up your minds NOT to worry rehearsing your defense beforehand; for I Myself will give you an eloquence (ability to express, articulate, persuade) and a wisdom (knowledge and understanding) that no adversary (opponent, enemy) will be able to resist or refute. You will be betrayed even by parents, brothers, relatives and friends; some of you they will have put to death; and everyone will hate you because of Me. But not a hair will be lost. By STANDING FIRM you will SAVE your lives.”

Interestingly, ALL the DISCIPLES were killed for witnessing about Yeshua the Messiah, except for John the beloved disciple although he also went through fierce trials and was kept on the Island Patmos where he received the revelation from Abba Father on Yeshua the Messiah as written in the Book of Revelation (read Revelation 1:9).

Yeshua our Messiah gave a similar message as part of His explanation to His disciples on the end of days in Matthew 24:4-14 saying: “Watch out! Don’t let anyone fool you! For many will come in My Name, saying, ‘I am the Messiah!’ and they will lead many astray. You will hear the noise of wars nearby and the news of wars far off; see to it that you don’t become frightened. Such things must happen, but the end is yet to come. For peoples will fight each other, nations will fight each other, and there will be famines and earthquakes in various parts of the world; all this is but the beginning of the ‘birth-pains. At that time you will be arrested and handed over to be punished and put to death, and ALL peoples will HATE you because of ME. At that time, many will be trapped (ensnared) into betraying and hating each other, MANY FALSE PROPHETS will appear and FOOL MANY PEOPLE; and MANY PEOPLE’s LOVE WILL GROW COLD BECAUSE OF INCREASE DISTANCE (coldness, indifference, aloofness, detachment, disinterest) FROM TORAH (Genesis to Deuteronomy, summed up in the Ten Commandments). But WHOEVER HOLDS OUT TILL THE END WILL BE DELIVERED (rescued, set free). Also read Mark 13:5-13 and Luke 21:8-19.

We see in Acts 14 that the believers, including Paul, filled with the Holy Spirit as part of the NEW COVENANT as promised by God the Father, understood and accepted PERSECUTION. We read in Acts 14 about the persecution of Paul and Barnabas in Lycaonian and Paul ending up being stoned and dragged out of the city and a small group of believers then surrounded him, thinking he was dead, but he got up and went back into the city. And then we read in verse 21-22: the next day Paul and Barnabas left for Derbe and they returned to Lystra, Iconium and Antioch, “strengthening the disciples and encouraging them to remain true to the faith.” We know that Paul endured much suffering in spreading the Gospel.

And Paul thereafter encourages believers in MANY OF HIS LETTERS to PERSERVERE like for instance in Romans 5:3-5 where he said: “…let us boast (be satisfied, content) in our troubles; because we know that trouble produces endurance, endurance produces character, and character produces hope; and this hope does not let us down, because God’s LOVE for us has already been poured out in our hearts through the Ruach HaKodesh (the Holy Spirit) who has been given to us.”

In Revelation 14:9-11 we read about the third angel who warned the people worshipping the beast and its image and receiving the mark on their foreheads and or hands will indeed drink the wine of God’s fury poured undiluted into the cup of His rage and they will have no rest night and day and then we read in verse 12: “This is when perseverance is needed on the part of God’s people, those who OBSERVE HIS COMMANDMENTS and EXERCISE (implement) YEHSUA’s FAITHFULNESS.”

And we know 1 Corinthians 13 LOVE WILL BE REQUIRED for this because we read in verse 7 it is ONLY GOD’s KIND OF LOVE that is able to BEAR (tolerates, puts up with) ALL THINGS, BELIEVES (trusts, hopes, have confidence) in ALL THINGS and ENDURES (stands, withstands, survives) ALL THINGS.

Peter confirms this when saying in 2 Peter 1:3-10 “God’s power has given us everything we need for life and godliness, through our knowing the ONE who called us to His own glory and goodness. By these He has given us valuable and superlatively (excellent, outstanding, exceptional) great promises, so that through them you might come to share in God’s nature and escape the corruption which evil desires have brought into the world. For this very reason , try your hardest to furnish your faith  with goodness, goodness with knowledge, knowledge with self-control, self-control with perseverance, perseverance with godliness, godliness with brotherly affection and brotherly affection (fondness, friendliness) with love. For if you have these qualities in abundance, they keep you from being barren (unproductive) and unfruitful (fruitless) in the KNOWLEDGE of our Master Yeshua the Messiah. Indeed, whoever lacks them is blind, so shortsighted (thoughtless, unthinking) that he forgets that his past sins have been washed away. Therefore, brothers, try even harder to make your being called and chosen a certainty. For if you keep doing this, you will NEVER STUMBLE.”

So, what should we do now?

The WORD of ABBA FATHER calls us to do TWO THINGS:

1. COME OUT OF BABYLON; and
2. GET INTO THE ARK BEFORE YHVH THE FATHER SHUTS THE DOOR – meaning: RETURN TO OBEDIENCE TO THE WORD, THE TRUTH OF ABBA FATHER!

So let’s start by exploring what it means to:

1.COME OUT OF BABYLON

We read in Revelation 18 about the FALL of BABYLON and in verses: 4-5 “Then I (John) heard another voice out of heaven say: ‘My people, COME OUT OF HER (Babylon)! So that you will not share in her sins. So that you will not be infected by her plagues, for her sins are a sticky mass piled up to heaven, and God has REMEMBERED her crimes.”

These words also remind us of what Paul says in Romans 2:1-3 where he warns us not to judge others since we do the same things we judge them for and will not escape God’s impartial (unbiased, objective) judgement and he then says in verses 4-8: “Or perhaps you despise the riches of His kindness, forbearance (tolerance) and patience; because you don’t realize that God’s kindness is intended to lead you to turn from your sins. But by your stubbornness by your UNREPENTANT HEART, you are storing up anger for yourself on the DAY of Anger (Judgement Day), when God’s righteous judgement will be revealed; for He will pay back each one according to his deeds. To those who seeks glory, honor and immortality by perseverance in doing good, He will pay back ETERNAL LIFE. But to those who are self-seeking, who disobey the TRUTH (the WORD) and obey evil, He will pay back WRATH and ANGER.”

We also read the prophecy of the FALL OF BABYLON in Isaiah 47 and in Isaiah 48 we read about the SALVATION of the HOUSE of JACOB that calls themselves ISRAEL (this is all people grafting in on the Olive Tree of United ISRAEL) who have come from the spring of JUDAH (the Messiah), who swear by the Name of YHVH and invoke (petition) the God of ISRAEL. And then we read in verses 17-22 “Thus says YHVH, your Redeemer, the Holy One of ISRAEL: I am YHVH, your God, who teaches you for your own good, who guides you on the path you should take. If only you would heed My mitzvot (COMMANDMENTS)! Then your peace would flow on like a river, and your righteousness (blamelessness, innocence, guiltlessness) like the waves of the sea. Your descendants would be numerous as the sand, your offspring countless as its grains. Their name would never be cut off or destroyed from My presence.’ GET OUT OF BABEL! FLEE FROM THE KASDIM (the Chaldeans, also called the Babylonians)! With shouts of joy announce it, proclaim it! Send the news to the ends of the earth! Say: YHVH has REDEEMED his servant Jacob (All twelve tribes of ISRAEL, including the multitude of nations grafted in, also read Exodus 12:38). They weren’t thirsty when He led them through the deserts, He made water flow from the ROCK for them – He split the ROCK, and out gushed the water. But there is NO PEACE for the wicked. (Also read 1 Corinthians 10:4 where Paul confirms this ROCK who was with ISRAEL in the desert is YESHUA the MESSIAH!).

Yeshua our Messiah provides us with the reasons why we can find ourselves being  STUCK in Babylon, the implications thereof and how to get out in His PARABLE on the SOWER and the SEED in Matthew 13:1-23 (also read Mark 4:1-20 and Luke 8:4-15):

REASON 1: HEARING the MESSAGE of the KINGDOM of YHVH but not UNDERSTANDING it.

In the PARABLE of the SOWER in Matthew 13:3-4 Yeshua told the story of a FARMER who went out to SOW his SEED. As he SOWED, some SEEDS fell alongside the path; and the birds came and ate it up. He then explained in verse 19 this means: “Whoever HEARS the MESSAGE about the KINGDOM, but doesn’t understand it, is like the SEED SOWN along the path – the evil one comes and seizes what was SOWN in the HEART.

We read in Deuteronomy 29 about the Israelites being freed from Egypt and led by God in the desert for FORTY YEARS while providing for them, protecting them and caring for them but still they were not able to UNDERSTAND with their HEARTS, SEE with their EYES of HEAR with their EARS. 

Yeshua our Messiah gives the following REASONS for this in:

In Matthew 13 when He tells the PARABLE of the SOWER, His disciples ask Him why He is speaking to the people in parables and He then explains to them in verses 13-15 “…they LOOK without SEEING and LISTEN without HEARING or UNDERSTANDING. That is, in them is fulfilled the prophecy of Isaiah (referring to Isaiah 6:9-10), which says, ‘You will keep on hearing but never understanding, and keep on seeing but never perceive, because THE HEART OF THIS PEOPLE HAS BECOME DULL (other Bible versions says: HARDENED) – with their EARS they BARELY HEAR and their EYES THEY HAVE CLOSED, so NOT TO SEE with their EYES, HEAR with their EARS, UNDERSTAND with their HEARTS and DO TESHUVAH (repentance), SO THAT I COULD HEAL THEM.

We read in Acts 28:17-22, Paul quoted Isaiah 6:9-10, when he was back in Rome, staying by himself but being guarded by a soldier, to a large number of Jewish leaders (people from the Southern Kingdom, consisting of the tribe of Judah and Benjamin) whom he called together for a meeting. He explained to them that he had done nothing against them, his people, neither against the traditions of his fathers (remember Paul was from the tribe of Benjamin and therefore considered a Jew, read Philippians 3:5) but he was made a prisoner in Jerusalem and handed over to the Romans. They examined him and were ready to release him because he had done nothing to justify a death sentence. But when the Judeans (his fellow Jewish people living in Judea), objected, he was forced to appeal to the Emperor of Rome. And Paul indicated he called them together to speak about the hope of Israel and they then said they wanted to  know about the sect (called ‘the Way’) that people everywhere speak against (remember, THE WAY was the Gospel Paul was spreading as the GOOD NEWS! Read Acts 24:14).

And then we read in Acts 28:23-30 “So they (the Jewish leaders) arranged a day with him and came to his quarters in large numbers. From morning until evening he explained the matter to them, giving a thorough witness about the Kingdom of God and making use of both the TORAH of Moses (Genesis to Deuteronomy summed up in the Ten Commandments) and the PROPHETS to PERSUADE (convince) THEM ABOUT YESHUA. Some were convinced by what he said, but others REFUSED to believe. So they left disagreeing among themselves, after Paul made one final statement, saying the Holy Spirit spoke well in saying to their fathers through the prophet Isaiah the words in Isaiah 6:9-10 about their lack of understanding because of their hardened hearts and their fear of hearing and seeing and resulting unwillingness to repent (apologize, ask forgiveness) and therefore inability (failure) to be healed (made whole, be restored). And Paul then proclaiming that the SALVATION of God has been sent to the Gentiles (people not from the tribes of Judah and Benjamin), who WILL LISTEN. Paul, who was under house arrest and awaiting trial, was allowed to continue proclaiming the Kingdom of God and teaching about Yeshua the Messiah for two more years.

Paul however explains in Romans 11 that God will not reject the Jewish people (people from the tribes of Judah and Benjamin), but rather due to their stumbling, deliverance has come to the Gentiles (non-Jewish people, not from the tribes of Judah and Benjamin) in order to provoke them to jealousy.  Paul further explains that he has been sent to the Gentiles, he hope that somehow he may provoke some of his own people (the Jews) to jealousy and save some of them. And Paul then says in verses 15-24: “For if their casting Yeshua aside means reconciliation for the world, what will their accepting Him mean? It will be LIFE from the dead! Now if the hallah (dough, bread) offered as FIRSTFRUITS is holy (set-apart, sanctified to Abba Father), so is the whole loaf. And if the ROOT is HOLY (set-apart, sanctified to Abba Father), so are the BRANCHES. But if some of the branches were broken off, and you – a WILD OLIVE – were GRAFTED IN among them and have become equal sharers in the rich ROOT of the OLIVE TREE, then don’t boast as if you were better than the branches! However, if you boast, REMEMBER that you are not supporting the ROOT, the ROOT is supporting you.

So you will say, ‘Branches were broken off so that I might be GRAFTED IN.’ True, but so what? They were broken off because of their lack of trust (faith, believe, hope). However, you keep your place only because of your TRUST (faith, believe, hope). So don’t be arrogant, be terrified! For if God did not spare the natural branches, He certainly won’t spare you! So take a good look at God’s kindness and His severity: on the one hand, severity toward those who fell off: but, on the other hand, God’s kindness toward you – provided you maintain yourself in that kindness! Otherwise you too will be cut off! Moreover, the others, if they don’t persist in their lack of trust (faith, believe, hope), will be grafted in; because God is able to GRAFT them BACK IN. For if you were cut out of what is by nature a WILD OLIVE TREE and GRAFTED, contrary to nature, into a CULTIVATED OLIVE TREE (YHVH’s ISRAEL), how much more will these natural branches be GRFTED back into their OWN OLIVE TREE!”

And then Paul explains in verse 25b: that “…stoniness (a hardened heart), to a degree, has come upon Israel, until the Gentile world enters in its fullness; and that it is in this way that ALL ISRAEL will be saved. With other words, the WILD OLIVE TREE (Gentiles), GRAFTED in on the CULTIVATED OLIVE TREE, (YHVH’s WHOLE HOUSE of ISRAEL), as well as the NATURAL BRANCHES (the TWELVE TRIBES of ISRAEL, including the Southern and Northern Kingdoms) who were broken off, be GRAFTED back into the CULTIVATED OLIVE TREE, (YHVH’s WHOLE HOUSE of ISRAEL) and in so doing being ONE CULTIVATED OLIVE TREE – ALL CALLED ISRAEL and therefore ALL ISRAEL, meaning all who GRAFTED IN to the CULTIVATED OLIVE TREE, WILL BE SAVED.

And in John 8:43 & 47 Yeshua our Messiah gives more insight into the REASON WHY some people cannot HEAR, SEE nor UNDERSTAND HIS MESSAGE. He is talking here with the Pharisees who were well versed (trained, skilled with head knowledge, but not heart knowledge) in the Torah (Genesis to Deuteronomy) and the Judeans (people from the tribe of Judah and Benjamin living in Judea who regarded themselves to be children of Abraham according to John 8:33) saying to them:  “Why don’t you understand what I’m saying? Because you can’t bear to listen to My message. You belong to your father, Satan (whom we know according to Revelation 12:9 is the ancient serpent of Genesis) and you want to carry out your father’s desires. From the start he was a murderer, and he has never stood by the TRUTH, because there is NO TRUTH in him. When he tells a lie, he is speaking in character; because he is a liar – indeed, the inventor of the lie! And did you know serpents do not have ears, they hear using their jawbones to detect vibrations through the ground! So strictly speaking they cannot hear, nor listen!

And then Yeshua asks them in verses 46b-47: “If I’m telling the TRUTH, why don’t you believe Me? Whoever belongs to God LISTENS to what God says; the reason you don’t listen is that you don’t belong to God.”

In Romans 8 Paul explains the process of dying to the old sinful nature and living as a new person filled with the Holy Spirit. This is a depiction of the SALVATION PROCESS moving from the acceptance of the death of Yeshua our Messiah on the cross on our behalf as part of YHVH’s Feast 1: Passover (Pesach in Hebrew), to Feast 2: Unleavened Bread, dying with Him to our old sinful nature (the things we read about in Galatians 5:19-21), by being baptized into His death and therefore buried with Him and Feast 3: First Fruits, being resurrected as a new person with Yeshua our Messiah, sitting at His table and being taught His Word daily, and in so doing our minds are RENEWED (transformed, changed, made new) (also read Romans 1:1-2) and then, 50 days later, being filled with His Holy Spirit represented by Feast 4: Pentecost and therefore being able to bear the FRUIT of the HOLY SPIRIT (read Galatians 5:22-23).

The believer then puts on the armor of God as we read about in Ephesians 6:13-18 to daily fight and resist the old nature and the evil one from which it comes. The FEASTS are also celebrated annually helping us to make sure each year that the old sinful nature is not lurking somewhere in our lives but is dead and gone and allowing no place for it in our lives (read Hebrews 12:1-3). When a person does not go through this process he or she may possibly NOT be born again and therefore does not have the Holy Spirit of God in them (similar to what we saw in John 8 with the Pharisees and Judeans who knew the Word with head knowledge, but did not recognize the Son of God conversing with them, and therefore did not submit themselves to Him who IS THE WORD OF GOD THE FATHER!). And Paul then explains in Romans 8:6 such a person has his or her mind controlled by the old (sinful) nature of death and not by the Holy Spirit of live and shalom (peace). Therefore Paul says in verse 7-8: “For the mind controlled by the old (sinful) nature is hostile (antagonistic, opposed, aggressive, unreceptive) to God, because it does not submit itself to God’s TORAH (His Word in Genesis to Deuteronomy, summed up in the Ten Commandments) – indeed it cannot. Thus, those who identify with the old (sinful) nature cannot please God.”

In 1 Corinthians 2 Paul again confirms that we can ONLY understand the things of God through HIS HOLY SPIRIT, human wisdom is unable to understand it and therefore we must be filled with His Spirit. If a person is not filled with His Spirit, and therefore not born again, Paul says in verse 14 such a person view the things of God as nonsense (it does not make sense to this person), and they are unable to grasp (understand, comprehend) it.

In Ephesians 4:17-19 Paul warns believers to live in union with Messiah Yeshua and no longer live as the pagans (unbelievers) do, with their sterile (barren, unfruitful) ways (the NIV says, in their futility meaning uselessness, pointlessness, vainness) of thinking. “Their intelligence has been shrouded (covered) in darkness, and they are estranged (separated) from the life of God, because of the ignorance (lack of knowledge) in them, which in turn comes from resisting God’s will. They have lost all feeling, so they have abandoned themselves to sensuality, practicing any kind of impurity (uncleanness, filthiness, dirtiness) and are always greedy for more”. He then explains in verses 20-21 Yeshua the Messiah has not instructed them in this way, for what is in Him is TRUTH. And Paul further says in verses 22-24 “…then, so far as your former way of life is concerned, you must strip of your old nature, because your old nature is thoroughly rotted by it deceptive desires; and you must let your (human) spirits and minds keep being renewed, and clothe yourselves with the NEW NATURE created to be godly (holy, set-apart, sanctified), which EXPRESSES ITSELF in the RIGHTEOUSNESS and HOLINESS that flow from the TRUTH. And then Paul gives a list of what this entails in verses 25-31:

• Stripping of falsehood (lies, misinterpretation, misunderstanding), let everyone speaks truth with his neighbor;
• Not sinning when we are angry and dealing with the cause of our anger before the sun goes down otherwise we leave room for the Adversary (Satan);
• Stop stealing and instead making an honest living. And sharing what we have with those in need;
• Let no harmful (damaging, destructive, hurtful) language come from our mouths, only good words that are helpful in meeting needs, words that will benefit those who hear them.
• Not causing grief (sorrow, heartache, pain) to God’s (Ruach HaKodesh) Holy Spirit, for He has stamped (marked) believers as His property until the day of final redemption.
• Getting rid of all bitterness, rage, anger, violent assertiveness (forcefulness, aggressiveness) and slander (insult, defamation), along with all spitefulness (vindictiveness, nastiness, meanness). Instead, being kind (caring, gentle) to each other, tenderhearted; and forgiving each other, just as in the Messiah God has also forgiven us.

The writer of the Book of Hebrews warns us in Hebrews 3:7-11, by quoting Psalm 95:7-11 about the danger of a HARDENED HEART and putting God to the test (meaning challenging Him) although they saw God’s provision and protection for forty years. Therefore God was disgusted with that generation having HEARTS always going astray and not UNDERTANDING how God does things and therefore He swore in His anger that they would not enter His REST.  We read in Hebrews 3:12 that we should watch out that there will not be an evil HEART lacking trust (faith, believe, hope), which could lead us to APOSTATIZE (departing, falling away) FROM THE LIVING GOD! (Rejecting God’s rule/ His laws, instructions, regulations in your life, therefore, becoming unfaithful to Him. Apostasy is therefore not just error or ignorance, but a deliberate turning away from the TRUTH/ the WORD, willfully rejecting Yeshua the Messiah and God’s rule over a person’s life).

 And we further read in Hebrews 3:13: “Instead, keep exhorting (encouraging) each other every day, as long as it is called TODAY, so that none of you become HARDENED by the deceit of sin. And in verses 16-19 he spells it out that that the people who quarreled (argued, disagreed, fought) so bitterly (severely) were ALL those Moses brought out of Egypt who SINNED and FELL DEAD in the Wilderness because they were DISOBEDIENT to God and could therefore because of their LACK of TRUST (faith, hope, belief) not enter the REST of God in the Promised Land. In Hebrews 4:6 we read Therefore, since it still remains for some to enter it, and those who received the GOOD NEWS earlier did not enter, He again fixes a certain day, “Today”, saying through David, so long afterwards, in the text already given, “Today, if you hear God’s voice, don’t harden your hearts.” The writer of Hebrews is here quoting Psalm 95:7-8.  And in Hebrews 4:9-11 he further says: “So, there remains a Shabbat (Sabbath) keeping for God’s people. For the one who has entered God’s REST has also RESTED from his own works, as God did from His. Therefore, let us do our best to enter that REST; so that no one will fall short because of the same kind of DISOBEDIENCE.”

There is hope in YHVH our Father’s promise, now available to each one of us in the fulfillment of the outpouring of His Holy Spirit on Pentecost (as described in Book of Acts) with the ultimate fulfilment in the thousand year reign of Yeshua the Messiah in Ezekiel 36:24-27 “For I will take you from among the nations, gather you from all the countries, and return you to your own soil (the land of ISRAEL). Then I will sprinkle clean water on you, and you will be clean; I will cleanse you from all your uncleanness and from all your idols. I WILL GIVE YOU A NEW HEART and put a NEW (human) spirit inside you, I will take the stone heart out of your flesh and GIVE YOU A HEART OF FLESH. I WILL PUT MY SPIRIT (the Holy Spirit) INSIDE YOU and CAUSE you to LIVE BY MY LAWS, RESPECT MY RULINGS and OBEY THEM.”

In both Matthew 11:15 and Revelation chapters 2-3 Yeshua Himself says: “If you have ears, then hear (perceive, observe, listen, take note)!”
