WAKE-UP CALL: Part 1 – A famine is coming, not of food and drink but of the hearing of THE WORD of YHVH

This message is not to incite FEAR but rather serve as a WAKE-UP CALL to BELIEVERS. All of us know we are living in challenging times and things are speeding up, if we do not WAKE UP now, it may become very difficult in future and indeed for some, even impossible.
A few important things to take note of before we begin:
- BIBLE VERSIONS we prefer to use and the reasons for it.
We prefer using the 1933/ 53 BIBLE VERSIONS in Afrikaans, but will sometimes for clarity purposes on the meaning of words use other Bible versions. For English messages we mainly use the Complete Jewish Study Bible – insight for Jews and Christians due to the original HEBREW WORDS used in parts of the text, helping us to understand the initial meaning of words that are unclear in the Standard English and Afrikaans Bible versions.
Please note ALL BIBLE VERSIONS may have some errors, by accident or possibly deliberate, in them but fortunately God protects His own Word by providing us with an unfailing method to CONFIRM HIS WORD through more than one WITHNESS provided for all important parts. LOOK FOR THE WITNESSESS – with other words, find the other verses in His WORD referring to what you are reading – you will find the WITNESSESS for NEW TESTAMENT SCRIPTURES in HIS TORAH (Genesis to Deuteronomy) as well as other Old Testament scriptures like the PROPHETS and other books. The Older Bible versions had these witnesses written in the margin but the newer Bible versions removed it, making it more difficult but still possible if we read the total Word of God, chapter by chapter from the beginning. You can also do online searches on specific topics to find corresponding verses. REMEMBER Deuteronomy 4:29 encourages “SEEK ME and YOU WILL FIND ME.” (Also read Isaiah 55:6, Matthew 6:33 & 7:7 and Acts 17:27). This is part of His way to keep us in His WORD, seeking and praying and in so doing developing a RELATIONSHIP with HIM, FINDING HIM in HIS WORD! The more you SEEK HIM by SEEKING for the different WITNESSESS confirming scripture, the more you will stand in awe of HIM!
- THE NAMES OF GOD we use and the reasons for it.
We use the Hebrew letters for the name of God, YHVH (Yod-Heh-Vav-Heh) where the word LORD in English is indicated in capital letters in the scriptures. The reason being that the Jewish writers removed the vowels in God’s name out of fear of transgression of the third Commandment of taking His Name in vain. And today there is a lot of controversy about the pronunciation of His Name. We also refer to Him as Abba, an Aramaic word used by Yeshua our Messiah in Mark 14:36 when He was in His deepest hour of need He called the Father: “Abba”, meaning “Dear Father.” And Paul confirmed the acceptability of this way of addressing the Father in Romans 8:15 saying “…you received the Spirit (the Holy Spirit), who makes us sons and by whose power we cry out “Abba!” (that is, “Dear Father!”)”. Also read Galatians 4:5-6 where Paul explained that Yeshua made us sons of the Father and: “…because you are sons, God (the Father) has sent forth into our hearts the Spirit of His Son (Yeshua the Messiah), the Spirit (the Holy Spirit) who cries out, Abba! (that is, “Dear Father!”)”. Therefore as believers we may call YHVH the Father, “Abba”, without any hesitation because we are His children having the Spirit (the Holy Spirit) of Yeshua our Messiah in us who cries out Abba! We also prefer using the Hebrew Name Yeshua the Messiah instead of the English Name Jesus Christ translated from the Greek.
The next important issue is, understanding:
- WHO ISRAEL IS
It is CRUCIAL for EVERY BELIEVER to understand the specific references to the PEOPLE of YHVH in His Word to be able to UNLOCK the AMAZING VALUE of the WHOLE BIBLE from Genesis to Revelation. If we are unable to grasp this, the Word of God will be very confusing to us.
It is therefore IMPORTANT to take note of the FOLLOWING DESCRIPTIONS of YHVH’s PEOPLE, namely
1). ISRAEL
We know from the Bible that ABRAHAM and SARAH had a son called ISAAC and ISAAC had a son called JACOB, and JACOB (later renamed by God to ISRAEL), had TWELVE SONS, later called THE TWELVE TRIBES OF ISRAEL. Joseph, one of Jacob’s twelve sons, had two sons while he was in Egypt namely EPHRAIM and MANASSEH, who were later incorporated and blessed by Jacob as part of his sons and therefore as part of the TWELVE TRIBES OF ISRAEL (read Genesis chapters 21-35 and Genesis 48).
2). THE HOUSE OF ISRAEL
We see during the reign of Solomon, David’s son with Bathsheba, Solomon started out well as the King of ISRAEL and he served YHVH his God. But then, unfortunately he stumbled taking for himself a 1000 foreign women from different nations. God warned the people of ISRAEL telling them: “You are not to go among them (marrying the women of other nations) or they among you, because they will turn your hearts away toward their gods.” (1st Kings 11:2). But unfortunately we read in verse 3 Solomon was deeply attached by his love to the many foreign women from the nations and in this way he allowed them to take up the throne in his heart instead of YHVH his God – meaning he LOVED his wives MORE than he LOVED YHVH his God and he pleased them by building worshipping places for his 700 wives and 300 concubines and, they indeed did turn away his heart, as God warned to their (small letter) gods and he worshipped them with these women and he lost the favor of YHVH his God. We then read in 1st Kings 11:11 God warned Solomon saying: “Since this is what has been in your mind, and you haven’t kept MY COVENANT (Genesis to Deuteronomy, summed up in the Ten Commandments) and MY REGULATIONS (guidelines, principles, procedures) which I ordered you to OBEY (to hear and DO them), I WILL TEAR THE KINGDOM FROM YOU and give it to your servant (we later see this referred to Jeroboam who was from the TRIBE OF EPHRAIM, becoming the first king of ISRAEL, to be known as the NORTHERN KINGDOM, consisting of TEN TRIBES under Ephraim).” And YHVH further said to Solomon in 1st Kings 11:12-13 “However, for David your father’s sake I won’t do it while you are alive, but I will tear it away from your son. Even then, I won’t tear away all the kingdom; I will give one tribe to your son for the sake of David My servant and for the sake of JERUSALEM, which I have chosen.” Remember Yeshua the Messiah was promised through the line of JUDAH, the descendants of David (read 1st Kings 9:5 and Isaiah 9:6-7).
We however read in 1st Kings 12:19-25 that the tribe of Judah and the smaller tribe of Benjamin remained under the control of Solomon’s son Rehoboam and became known as the SOUTHERN KINGDOM of JUDAH.
So in summary, we then see early in Rehoboam’s reign the KINGDOM of ISRAEL was divided into TWO KINGDOMS namely a SOUTHERN KINGDOM consisting only of JUDAH and the smaller tribe of BENJAMIN and a NORTHERN KINGDOM consisting of the rest of the TEN TRIBES united under the leadership of EPHRAIM.
The NOTHERN KINGDOM under EPHRAIM were from there one REFERRED TO AS ISRAEL or THE HOUSE OF ISREAL. The FIRST king of the HOUSE of ISRAEL, Jeroboam, lead the people of ISRAEL in total idolatry and lawlessness (unrighteousness) and ALL the kings after him followed in his footsteps until YHVH their God, after many warning over many years, from 924 to 722 before Messiah Yeshua, approximately 200 years and then gave them over to the Assyrians. They assimilated into the nations and were NEVER regrouped as ISRAEL, they basically got lost into the nations and got involved and absorbed into their pagan practices and pagan feasts and are referred to as the LOST SHEEP OF ISRAEL!
We read in Jeremiah 50:6 “My people have been LOST SHEEP. MY SHEPERDS made them go astray, turning them loose in the mountains. And they wandered from mountain to hill, they LOST TRACK OF WHERE THEIR HOME IS.” And Yeshua the Messiah said in Matthew 10:5-6 to His twelve disciples: “…Don’t go to the territory of the Gentiles, and do not enter any town of Samaria, but rather go to the LOST SHEEP OF THE HOUSE OF ISRAEL.” This was because Samaria, previously occupied by the tribe of Ephraim as their capital city, but after their dispersion, were now filled with pagan nations (read 2 Kings 17:24). And Yeshua the Messiah said in Matthew 15:24 “I was sent ONLY to the LOST SHEEP OF THE HOUSE OF ISRAEL”. (Also read Matthew 9:36).
YHVH the Father said at the END OF DAYS He will CALL them, we read in Zechariah 10:6a-10 “I will…SAVE the HOUSE of JOSEPH (referring to Josephs two sons who became the tribes of EPHRAIM and MANASSEH but alluding to the Northern Kingdom of all TEN TRIBES). I will BRING THEM BACK in My compassion for them; they will be as if I haven’t driven them out; for I am YHVH their God, and I will answer them. Ephraim’s men will be like warriors; their hearts will be cheered as if from wine. Their children will see it and rejoice, their hearts will be glad in YHVH. I WILL WHISTLE FOR THEM and GATHER THEM, because I HAVE REDEEMED THEM; they will be as numerous as they were before; and I will sow them among the peoples. In DISTAND LANDS THEY WILL REMEMBER ME; they will rear their children and then RETURN.”
We are seeing it today, many so called “Gentiles”, people not belonging to the tribe of Judah and Benjamin, who accepted YESHUA THE MESSIAH as their SAVOIR are finding their way back to Abba Father’s TORAH (His WORD in Genesis to Deuteronomy) including the TEN COMMNDMENTS and HIS SEVEN FEASTS, as also explained by THE PROPHETS and YESHUA our MESSIAH in the GOPSELS as captured by Matthew, Mark, Luke and John and through the Apostles as we read in Acts to Revelation.
3). BEING GRAFTED INTO ISRAEL
The first indication of a non-ISRAELITE being grafted into ISRAEL is probably Joseph’s two sons who were half ISRAELITE and half EGYPTIAN due to having an Egyptian mother, but we see in Genesis 48 they were FULLY accepted as PART OF THE TWELVE TRIBES of ISRAEL.
Then later on, with the exodus out of Egypt we see it were not only the descendants of the TWELVE TRIBES of ISRAEL who left EGYPT but indeed a MULTITUDE of PEOPE of MIXED BLOOD/ A MIXED CROWD, people who were not decedents of the twelve tribes, went with them (read Exodus 12:38). ALL these people were regarded as ISRAEL and they FOLLOWED YHVH’s WAYS including receiving His TORAH, Genesis to Deuteronomy summed up in the TEN COMMANDMENTS in Exodus 20 and HIS FEASTS specified in Leviticus 23.
We also read of the GREAT COMMISSION (command, directive, instruction) as given to the followers of Yeshua the Messiah in Mathew 28:19, Mark 16:15, Luke 24:47 to witness to PEOPLE from ALL NATIONS and Romans 11 telling us of all believers being grafted into the OLIVE TREE..
We also read in Revelation 7:9-17 of a HUGE CROWD, too large to count, from EVERY NATION, TRIBE, PEOPLE and LANGUAGE standing in front of the THRONE of ABBA FATHER and in front of THE LAMB (Yeshua the Messiah) as faithful people who were willing to die for His Name during the great tribulation.
4). THE HOUSE OF JUDAH
The SOUTHERN KINGDOM under JUDAH was from there one REFERRED TO AS THE HOUSE OF JUDAH. During the NEW TESTAMENT they became known as “THE JEWS.” The SOUTHERN KINGDOM had also fallen into idolatry and lawlessness (unrighteousness) but there were a few good kings who made reforms, and lead their people back into OBEDIENCE to the TORAH (Genesis tot Deuteronomy summed up in the TEN COMMANDMENTS), including keeping the FEASTS of YHVH. Although they also strayed from YHVH’s WORD and, due to their sins, were given over to the Babylonians in the year 586 before Yeshua the Messiah. They returned to the LAND of ISRAEL and their capital city JERUSALEM after 70 years of captivity and are identifiable even today, as THE JEWS.
We also know, Yeshua our Messiah was prophesied to be born from the line of King David and therefore form the line of JUDAH and He was indeed born as part of the SOUTHERN KINGDOM of JUDAH and He is till today known as the LION OF JUDAH, the ROOT OF DAVID as written in Revelation 5:5.
5). THE WHOLE HOUSE OF ISRAEL
YHVH our God’s plan is to REUNITE ISRAEL into ONE KINGDOM again.
Abba Father, declared through Yeshua our Messiah and His death FOR ALL MANKIND’s SIN (read John 3:16-17), the ability of the UNIFYING of EVERYONE, irrespective of NATION if we accept Yeshua the Messiah as our Savior and follow Him in obedience to the Father with the help of His Holy Spirit, but FINAL REUNION of the HOUSE of ISRAEL and the HOUSE of JUDAH will only take place in Yeshua the Messiah’s thousand year reign of PEACE. We know this from the prophecy in Ezekiel chapter 37.
We read in Isaiah 11 about this FUTURE PROSPEROUS REIGN of THE MESSIAH and we read in verse 12. “He will hoist (raise) a banner for the NATIONS, assemble the DISPERSED of ISRAEL (referring to the NORTHERN KINGDOM) and gather the SCATTERED of JUDAH (referring to the SOUTHERN KINGDOM) from the FOUR CORNERS OF THE EARTH.” Isaiah 43 Isaiah is again talking about the SAVIOR and about MERCY and saying in verses 3-7: He will gather the people of JACOB, of ISRAEL (now referring to ALL TWELVE TRIBES) from the east, west, north and south. Also read Zechariah 10:7-8 again referring to the GATHERING of both THE HOUSE OF JUDAH and THE HOUSE OF JOSEPH, alluding to THE HOUSE OF ISRAEL that will be gathered.
And Yeshua our Messiah then tells us WHEN this will happen in Matthew 24:29-31 saying: “But immediately following the TROUBLE (distress, anxiety, suffering) of those times, the sun will grow dark, the moon will stop shining, the stars will fall from the sky, and the powers in heaven will be shaken. Then the sign of the Son of Man (Yeshua the Messiah) will appear in the sky, ALL THE TRIBES OF THE LAND WILL MOURN, and they will SEE the SON of MAN COMING on the clouds of heaven with TREMENDOUS POWER AND GLORY. He will send out His angels WITH A GREAT SHOFAR (a trumpet), and they WILL GATHER HIS CHOSEN PEOPLE , from the one end of heaven to the other (all who are considered as the ISRAEL of GOD the FATHER by being grafted in on the Olive Tree, through acceptance of Yeshua the Messiah’s death on the cross on their behalf and dying to the old nature and becoming a NEW PERSON and following Him in obedience to the Father (read Galatians 6:14-16).”
And that is why Paul explains in Romans 11:26 ”…ALL ISRAEL will be SAVED.”
Bible verses RELATING to THE NEW COVENANT and in the NEW TESTAMENT referring to this principle is:
Jeremiah 31:31-34 saying: “Here the days are coming, says YHVH, when I will make a NEW COVENANT with the HOUSE of ISRAEL and the HOUSE of JUDAH. It will not be like the COVENANT I made with their fathers on the day I took them by their hand and brought them out of the land of Egypt; because they, for their part, violated (dishonored, desecrated) MY COVENANT, even though I, for My part, was a HUSBAND to them, says YHVH. For this is the COVENANT I will make with the HOUSE of ISRAEL (the Northern Kingdom, literally THE LOST SHEEP OF ISRAEL) after those days, says YHVH: I will put MY TORAH (Genesis to Deuteronomy, summed up in the TEN COMMANDMENTS) within them and write it on their hearts; I will be their God and they will be MY PEOPLE. No longer will any of them teach his fellow community member or his brother,’ Know YHVH’; for ALL will know Me, from the least of them to the greatest; because I WILL FORGIVE their wickedness and remember their sins no more.”
And this is confirmed by Hebrews 8:8-12 and 10:16-18 as the NEW COVENANT with BELIEVERS in Yeshua the Messiah.
And please note there are ONLY TWELVE GATES through which one can ENTER into the NEW JERUSALEM and INSCRIBED ON THE GATES are the NAMES of TWELVE TRIBES OF ISRAEL as mentioned in Revelation 21:12 And the WALL of the CITY is built on TWELVE FOUNDATION STONES, being the NAMES of the TWELVE EMISSARIES (the apostles) of the LAMB (Yeshua the Messiah). Read Revelation 21:13.
You will note YHVH our GOD often calls HIMSELF the GOD OF ISRAEL, so if we want to be HIS PEOPLE, we have to BECOME PART of HIS ISRAEL.
- THE TORAH
TORAH is a Hebrew word literally meaning TEACHING, but usually translated as LAW from the Greek word nomos. The TORAH includes the five Books as written by Moses as instructed by YHVH (read Deuteronomy 31:9 & 24). Yeshua our Messiah had much to say about the TORAH and CONFIRMED the TORAH as the WORD of GOD that will ENDURE FOREVER like we read in Matthew 5:17-20 and Luke 16:17 & 31 and even after His resurrection in Luke 24:17. Also read Psalm 119:89. And we know the reason WHY THE WORD OF GOD IS EVERLASTING because we read in John 1:1-14 YESHUA, WHO IS GOD, IS THE WORD! (Also read Revelation 19:13).
Next we need to realize,
- ABBA FATHER IS ALWAYS IN CONTROL
It is EXTREMELY important to understand that YHVH our GOD, the CREATOR of HEAVEN and EARTH and everything in it, including YOU AND ME is ALWAYS in CONTROL. He says in Deuteronomy 32:39 “See now that I, yes I, AM HE; and there is no god beside Me; I PUT TO DEATH, and I MAKE ALIVE; I WOUND and I HEAL; no one SAVES anyone from My hand.” (Also read Hosea 6:1). And we know GOD the FATHER and YESHUA the MESSIAH are ONE (John 10:30, 17:11 & 22). In Revelation 1:18 Yeshua declares: “…I am ALIVE FOREVER and EVER! And I hold the KEYS to DEATH and SHEOL (the place of the dead, the underworld where unsaved people await resurrection for the Great White Throne Judgement on the LAST DAY we read about in Revelation 20:11-15 and 2 Peter 3:7)”.
And Paul confirms YEHSUA the MESSIAH’s AUTHORITY over ALL ELSE in Colossians 1:15-18 saying: “He is the VISIBLE IMAGE of the INVISIBLE GOD. He is SUPREME over ALL creation, because IN CONNECTION WITH HIM were ALL things created. – in heaven and on earth , visible and invisible, whether thrones, lordships, rulers or authorities (establishments, systems) – they have ALL been created THROUGH HIM and FOR HIM. HE EXISTED before ALL things, and HE HOLDS EVERYTHING TOGETHER. Also HE IS HEAD of THE BODY, the MESSIANIC COMMUNITY – He is the BEGINNING, the FIRSTBORN from the DEAD, so that HE might hold FIRST PLACE in EVERYTHING.”
And it is for this VERY REASON we NEVER HAVE TO FEAR, if we REMAIN in HIS SHELTER and SHADOW, finding our REFUGE UNDER HIS WINGS and using HIS TRUTH (HIS WORD) as our SHIELD and PROTECTION by BEING OBEDIENT TO HIM (read John 14:15 and Psalm 91). And TRUSTING that He would work EVERYTHING (good or bad) TOGETHER for THE GOOD of those WHO LOVE HIM and are CALLED in ACCORDANCE with HIS PURPOSE (Romans 8:28 and Genesis 50:20). It is also important to UNDERSTAND HIS LOVE FOR US – even if we move away from Him by sinning, although it sadly separates us from Him, HIS LOVE IS UNENDING and we are called to be ROOTED (embedded, implanted, engrained, entrenched) and FOUNDED (created, established) in THIS LOVE to be able to grasp (understand, comprehend) it and be FILLED with ALL the fullness of God (read Romans 8:35-39 and Ephesians 3:17-19).
We especially see in the HISTORY BOOKS of the OLD TESTAMENT (1st and 2nd Kings and 1st and 2nd Chronicles), how God the Father gave the kings of Israel (the Northern kingdom) and Juda (the Southern Kingdom) over to their ENEMIES when they were DISOBEDIENT to HIM and chose to worship other (small letter) gods. And this is NOT because He is a bad or selfish God, NO, NOT AT ALL, it is RATHER a WAY in which HE DISCIPLINES HIS CHILDREN because HE DOES not want us to PERISH (be destroyed) but to TURN from our sins and LIVE!. We get a very good explanation of GOD THE FATHER’s DISCIPLINING and the POSITIVE EFFECTS thereof in Hebrews chapter 12. All of us know, a child that is never disciplined will not only feel unloved but also will eventually as an adult destroy their own relationships as well as themselves. Believers, called children of Abba Father, who does not want to accept Abba Father’s discipline and rebel against Him, will in time, fall into the same predicament, having no peace in themselves, neither in their relationships.
God also TESTS us to help us SEE (recognize, realize) what is in our HEARTS (thoughts and resulting emotions), because our own hearts (thoughts and emotions resulting from whatever we expose ourselves to through our five senses) can deceive us! (Read Jeremiah 17:9). Therefore, ABBA FATHER often TESTS us, not because He does not know what is in our hearts, but to SHOW US in order for us to REPENT (TESHUVA) – TURN BACK to HIM where we are LOVED, SAFE and PROTECTED against the enemy who wants to steal from us with lies, destroy and kill us while our FATHER and MESSIAH wants to give us LIFE ABUNDANTLY (read Jeremiah 17:10, Deuteronomy 8:2, 1 Thessalonians 2:4, Luke 15:11-24 about the Prodigal son as well as John 10:10).
Furthermore, ABBA FATHER PROMISES to KEEP US SAFE and to BE WITH US IN THE VALEY OF DEATH (read Psalm 23, the death of Stephan in Acts 6:54-60 and Revelation 6:9-11 & 7:9-17). If you BELIEVE THIS, and you KEEP BEING FAITHFUL to HIM by BEING OBEDIENT to HIM, you HAVE NOTHING to FEAR, not even the first death and you can be SURE you won’t face the second death! We read in Revelation 14:12-13 after the coming of the false messiah and people having received the mark of the beast and shortly before the seven bowls of the wrath of God are poured out on the earth: “This is when perseverance is needed on the part of God’s people, those who OBSERVE HIS COMMANDS (instructions, guidelines, directions) and exercise (implement) YESHUA’s FAITHFULNESS (the NIV says: “…who KEEP HIS COMMANDMENTS and REMAIN FAITHFUL TO YESHUA)…How blessed are the DEAD who DIE UNITED with MASTER YESHUA, from now on!
We then read in Revelation 19:11–21 about the coming of Yeshua the Messiah, the battle of Armageddon and the beast and the false prophet being thrown alive into the lake of fire. And in Revelation 20:4 we read of the faithful believers who have not received the mark of the beast nor worshipped the beast or its image, CAME ALIVE and ruled with the Messiah for a thousand years (these must be the same people mentioned in Revelation 5:9 and 7:9-14 coming from every nation, tribe, people and language who had been put to death for PROCLAIMING THE WORD OF GOD, that is, for BEARING WITNESS during the GREAT PERSECUTION (also called the TRIBULATION). And we then read in Revelation 20:5-6 “The rest of the dead did not come to live until the thousand years were over. This is the FIRST RESURECTION. Blessed and holy is anyone who has a part in the first resurrection; over him the SECOND DEATH HAS NO POWER.” (Also read Matthew 10:26-28).
And then lastly,
- PLEASE DO NOT FOCUSS on the messenger but RATHER FOCUSS ON THE MESSAGE.
Please do not let me stand between you and the TRUTH. Do not allow the enemy to steal this WARNING from Abba Father because you wonder and are worried about who I am or who I think I am to share this message with you. I am, like you, only a branch of His vine, and I am very aware of the fact that without Him I can do nothing (John 15:5). My SOLE INTENTION is ONLY to SHOW PEOPLE THE WAY back to ABBA FATHER’s WORD to SEE for THEMELVES how MARVELOUS HE IS and HOW ENDLESS HIS LOVE FOR US IS, so that we will LOVE HIM ABOVE ALL ELSE and our NEIGHBOUR (all other people) as OURSELVES and KNOW how to PREPARE for all the things that are coming upon this earth so that we can KEEP ON STANDING ON OUR ROCK YESHUA OUR MESSIAH, and KEEP ON OVERCOMMING no matter how fierce the storm may be.
So let’s FOCUSS on the following issues of GREAT CONCERN in the here and now we live in:
1. EXTREME DECEPTION
Yeshua warned us during the time of the end there will be GREAT DECEPTION. We read in Matthew 24:24 it will be to such an extent that even the very elect shall be deceived.
Paul tells us in 1 Corinthians 14:33 “…for God is not a God of unruliness (disorder, chaos, confusion) but of shalom (peace).”
I believe most if not all of us are currently experiencing moments of CONFUSION, the world seems somewhat different than before and MANY VOICES are shouting every day at us from MANY PLATFORMS, all declaring the truth according to themselves whether it is NEWS, CHURCH SERVICES, RELIGIOUS MESSAGES or INDIVIDUAL OPINIONS!
During the last year we experienced the amazing effects of AI in the presentation of religious material like the illustration of BOOKS from the BIBLE coming alive in vivid pictures and colors as well as GOSPEL MUSIC pouring out like rain day-by-day in beautiful tunes and breathtaking images! And one can easily get sucked in until one slowly but surely realize the wording used are sometimes given as “opinions” and not strictly as indicated in the Word itself. Some of the images given also may be somewhat deceptive including strange symbols. One could easily be deceived, trying to ignore some of the information tugging at your conscious, telling yourself that it has such a “good purpose” bringing the GOSPEL to those that prefer seeing and listening and NOT reading! But please remember a glass filled with 95% pure filtered water and only 5% poison is still in its totality POISONOUS to a person! If we drink it, it will affect us negatively, even if 95% of it is VERY GOOD! If we KNOW the WORD well, we will be able to SPOT the FALSENESS, but unfortunately very little believers read the Word themselves. MOST LISTEN to what preachers, teachers and individuals have to say ABOUT the WORD. Sadly, we should also BEWARE of the beautiful worship music popping out every day – I recently noticed Gospel music indicated as 432 Hz music and on investigation what it means, discovered it is part of meditation music opening the third eye and therefore is part of New Age. So, in the time we live in we really need to apply discernment as John warned us in 1 John 4:1 testing the spirits and indeed everything we allow through our eyes and ears.
2. FALSE PROPHETS
The Word of God WARNS us; MANY FALSE PROPHETS will arise. And Yeshua our Messiah gave us a FOOL PROOF WAY of discerning WHO the FALSE PROPHETS are! He said in Matthew 7:16 “You will recognize them BY THEIR FRUIT…” He also told us a GOOD tree cannot bear BAD fruit and a BAD tree cannot bear GOOD fruit (read Matthew 7:17-20). The ONLY way we can “see” what is in a person’s HEART (their thoughts and what they feel) is when we SEE and HEAR their FRUITS (their words and deeds). Yeshua told us about the BAD FRUITS in Matthew 15:18-19 coming from the HEART being: “wicked thoughts, murder, adultery and other kinds of sexual immorality, theft, lies, slander…” (You will note all of them are transgressions against other people according to Abba Father’s Ten Commandments). And Paul helps us in Galatians 5:19-21 further understanding the BAD FRUIT of the FLESH (the sinful nature) by mentioning: “…sexual immorality, impurity and indecency, involvement with the occult and with drugs, in feuding (arguing), fighting, becoming jealous and getting angry, selfish ambition, factions (divisions), intrigue (plotting, conspiracy) and envy (resentment) drunkenness, orgies (wild parties and celebrations) and things like these.” And then also the GOOD FRUIT, the FRUIT of the SPIRIT is mentioned in Galatians 5:22-23 as: “…love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, humility and self-control.”
Therefore it does not matter WHO talks to you, ALWAYS LOOK at and LISTEN to their FRUIT. If they do not talk about others or about issues showing the FRUITS of the SPIRIT, be very careful of what they share with you. REMEMBER we are warned often in the Word about FALSE SHEPPHERDS who will lead the flock astray (read Jeremiah 10:21, 23:1-6 & 50:6, Ezekiel 34:1-31, Matthew 7:15 and Acts 20:28-30). So we should be vigilant (watchful), listening and looking for THE FRUIT of people preaching to us and teaching us!
Jeremiah 17:5-8 tells us: “Here is what YHVH says: A curse on the person who trusts in humans, who relies on merely human strength, whose heart turns away from YHVH. He will be like a tamarisk (a bush or small tree) in the Aravah (the desert plain, south of the Dead Sea) – when relief comes, it is unaffected; for it lives in the sunbaked (hardened, sundried) desert, in salty (brackish), uninhabited land. Blessed is the man who TRUSTS in YHVH; YHVH will be his SECURITY. He will be like a tree planted near water; it spreads out its roots by the river; it does not notice when heat comes; and its foliage is luxuriant (flourishing); it is not anxious in a year of drought but KEEPS ON YIELDING FRUIT.” And Psalm 118:8-9 “It is better to take REFUGE in YHVH that to trust in human beings; better to take REFUGE in YHVH than to put one’s trust in princes (leaders).”
Next, make sure that you KNOW the WORD well by READING it for yourself with the help of the Holy Spirit who is your TEACHER of the WORD as explained to us in 1 John 2:27 and then when you hear the WORD from someone else, TEST it against the TRUTH in the WORD of GOD. NEVER take anything you hear from anyone, irrespective of how much you like them or how important they may be in the world’s eyes, as the ABSOLUTE TRUTH without TESTING it against the ABSOLUTE TRUTH, being the WORD of GOD as we know it from Genesis to Revelation, with our TEACHER, the HOLY SPIRIT’s help.
3. ABBA FATHER’s REQUIREMENT OF THE WATCHMEN
Abba Father tells Ezekiel in chapter 33:1-6 to as a WATCHMAN to BLOW THE SHOFAR (the trumpet) when he sees YHVH bring the sword on a country and WARN the people, then, if the sword comes and takes people away someone who HEARD the SHOFAR (the trumpet), but paid no attention to it, the RESPONSIBILITY for that person’s death will be his own; whereas if he had paid attention, he would have saved his life. But, if the WATCHMAN sees the sword coming and DOES NOT BLOW THE SHOFAR (the trumpet), so that the people are NOT WARNED; and then the sword comes and takes any one of them, that one is indeed taken away in his guilt, but I hold the WATCHMAN RESPONSIBLE for his death.” And then we read in verses 7-10 Ezekiel is specifically called to WARN the HOUSE of ISRAEL about their wickedness and sins. And we read in verse 11: “Say to them, ‘As I live, swears YHVH your God, I take NO pleasure in having the wicked person die, but in having the wicked person TURN from his way and live. So REPENT! TURN from your evil ways! For WHY should you die, HOUSE of ISRAEL?”
I believe this means, those BELIEVERS WHO have been AWAKENED by HIM are CALLED to be HIS WATCHMAN and have a MISSION to WARN those who are still ASLEEP. Maybe you are AWAKE, but have not AWKEN anybody else, then this may be your CALL to WAKE other people up while there is still time to come into His ARK! Abba willing, we will talk more about the Ark in a next message.
4. THE TRUMPETS ARE BLOWING TO WAKE US UP
We know from the WORD and specific the FEAST OF TRUMPETS that the SHOFAR (the trumpet) is provided as an ALARM to WAKE BELIEVERS UP for important EVENTS.
Now is not the time to play the BLAME GAME and sneering at other believers in ARROGANCE and PRIDE when they try to BLOW THE TRUMPET in SINCERITY to WAKE other BELIEVERS UP. Make sure you LOOK at their FRUIT as already discussed. If they WARN with sincerity and show GOOD FRUIT, even if their information is not totally correct, REMEMBER that Abba Father is maybe teaching us something else than the MAIN ISSUE they are addressing.
Like the recent huge CALL worldwide to prepare for the rapture, of which we know there were also prominent people in South Africa that were very sure that the rapture will take place during the Feast of Trumpets this year. And the reactions from fellow believers ranging from fear and panic to strong resistance from preachers and pastors and the utterance of violent words against those who have blown the trumpets.
But could it be that ABBA FATHER HIMSELF used these GOOD MEANING BELIEVERS TO WAKE PEOPLE UP? Because, for the FIRST TIME BELIEVERS WORLD WIDE took note of Abba Father’s FITH FEAST: THE FEAST OF TRUMPETS! A feast teaching and reminding us EACH year to PREPARE for the SECOND COMING of YESHUA the MESSIAH!
And there is something else, could this be that this was part of the fulfillment of Peter’s words in 2 Peter 3:3-4 saying: “First, understand this: during the LAST DAYS, scoffers will come, following their own desires and asking, ‘Where is this promised ‘coming’ of His? And Peter then explaining in verse 9: “The Master (Yeshua) is NOT slow in keeping His PROMISE, as some people think of slowness; on the contrary, He is patient with you; for it is not His purpose that anyone should be destroyed, but that everyone should TURN from their sins.” And he again reminds them in verse 10: “However, the Day of Master Yeshua will come “like a thief.” And we know that we are CALLED to WATCH and be READY for that day (read Matthew 24:42-44 and 25:10 and 1 Thessalonians 5:6)
5. THE SHIFT IN RELIGION
We read in Amos 8:11-12 “The time is coming, says YHVH the SOVEREIGN GOD, when I will send famine over the land, not a famine of bread or a thirst for water, but OF HEARING HE WORD OF YHVH. People will stagger from sea to sea and from north to east, running back and fro, SEEKING THE WORD OF YHVH; but they will NOT find it. When that time comes, young women and men will faint from thirst. ”
So, Abba Father clearly tells us in His WORD THE TRUTH is going to disappear, there will be a famine, but not of food! ABBA provided us with HIS TRUTH in the form of THE BIBLE for more than 2000 years and those of us who did not choose to read it or were too busy with LIVING and made no time to read it or rather wanted to listen to people than to listen to God Himself and being taught by the Holy Spirit and did NOT STORE HIS TRUTH UP in their HEARTS are not going to be able to find it anymore, because ABBA HIMSELF is going to allow it to be taken away! (Also read Isaiah 29:9-12, Isaiah 59:14-15, Ezekiel 7: 26 and Micah 3:7).
This makes one wonder if the RESTRAINER mentioned in 2 Thessalonians 2:7 currently restraining the coming of the false messiah, but will be taken out of the way, not maybe is referring to the TRUTH, THE WORD OF GOD that is going to be taken away!
Some people THINK that the RESTRAINER to be removed is the CHURCH, alluding to believers with the HOLY SPIRIT in them, but we still see believers present in Revelation 14 during the GREAT TRIBULATION and therefore they will still be filled with HOLY SPIRIT to enable them to WITNESS with boldness for Abba Father during the GREAT TRIBULATION. So, may it be possible that the RESTRAINER is THE TRUTH, THE WORD OF GOD? Think of it, the WORD of GOD is called a LAMP for OUR FEET and a LIGHT for OUR PATH. So, if it is REMOVED, it will become TOTALLY DARK in this world and DARKNESS and EVIL will have the ability to FLOURISH without limitations! (Read Ephesians 5:6-17 and Psalm 119:105). The ONLY LIGHT remaining will be those who STORED UP THE WORD OF GOD IN THEIR HEARTS. And the enemy will look for them to either RESTRAIN them from SHARING that LIGHT or to ELIMINATE THEM. Is that perhaps what we read about in Revelation 11:7-10 about the TWO WITNESSESS?
PLEASE REMEMBER AGAIN, nothing can happen without ABBA FATHER allowing it and HE WILL BE WITH THOSE WHO LOVE HIM, even to death! Always keep that in mind to keep you in HIS PERFECT PEACE whilst TRUSTING in HIM (Isaiah 26:3 and John 14:27).
We know of the worldwide talk of a ONE WORLD RELIGION. And we are beginning to see the first signs of preparation for implementation in SA. The CULTURAL, RELIGIOUS and LINGUISTIC RIGHTS COMMISSION (in short, the CRL Commission) is in process with establishing LAW to regulate religion in South Africa. The SOUTH AFRICAN CHURCH DEFENDERS (SACD) is arranging a national march on 8 October 2025 to the Union Buildings in an effort to maintain religious freedom and from their document it is clear that the current proposals of the CRL Commission will lead to the following:
- Place churches and ministries under state regulation.
- Require pastors and spiritual leaders to be licensed.
- Create mechanisms that could see pastoral callings subjected to state approval; and
- Monitor religious practices.
Should this LAW be implemented, we must realize it will inhibit the GREAT COMMISSION Yeshua our Messiah called every believer too, to be a WITNESS to other people and although you will still, according to them, enjoy religious freedom, you will ONLY be allowed to witness information to others in line with what has been approved under STATE REGULATION.
Could this perhaps be what Daniel was referring to in Daniel 9:17, 11:31 and 12:11 and later mentioned by Yeshua our Messiah in Matthew 24:15 “So, when you see the abomination (disgrace, atrocity) that causes desolation (misery) spoken about through the prophet Daniel standing in the Holy Place…” Could this ABOMINATION of DESOLATION be the ONE WORLD RELIGION that will be PREACHED in YHVH’s churches around the world? Shortly after this, our MESSIAH WARNS us in Matthew 24:21-22 “For there will be trouble then worse than there has ever been from the beginning of the world until now, and there will be nothing like it again! Indeed, if the length of this time had not been limited, no one would survive; but for the sake of those who have been chosen, its length will be limited.” AND THEN He indicates the antichrist/ false messiah will come in verses 23-28.
If the proposals of the CRL Commission is approved, it could be implemented during 2026. But REMEMER 2 Timothy 1:7 “For God gave us a Spirit (the Holy Spirit) who produces not timidity (nervousness, anxiety, fearfulness), but POWER, LOVE and SELF-DISCIPLINE.”
