FEAST SEASON 3 – FEAST 7: FEAST of TABERNACLES 2025 – including Tabernacle imagery & Gifts

THE THIRD SEASON FEASTS OF YHVH

FEAST 7: TABERNACLES

The feast of Tabernacles, known as Sukkot in Hebrew, is also known as the THOUSAND YEAR REIGN OF PEACE OF YESHUA THE MESSIAH and takes place on 15-21 Tishri, being on our calendar from sundown 7  to sundown 13 October 2025 and ending on the 8th Day called a Solemn Assembly on 22 Tishri, that is 14 October 2025 and representing the GREAT WHITE THRONE JUDGEMENT and thereafter ETERNITY (you will remember a day on the Biblical calendar starts at sundown and not at midnight as we are used to).

WE FIND THE TORAH INSTRUCTION OF Abba Father for the annual observing of the FEAST OF TABERNACLES in:

Leviticus 23:33-44

“YHVH said to Moses: Tell the people of Israel (all 12 tribes including the mixed multitudes that were with themExodus 12:38), on the fifteenth day of the seventh month, (15 Tishri) is the feast of Sukkot (the feast of Tabernacles) for seven days to YHVH. On the first day there is to be a holy convocation (gathering); do not do any kind of ordinary work. For seven days you are to bring an offering made by fire to YHVH;…On the first day you are to take choice fruit, palm fronds (leaves), thick branches and river willows, and celebrate in the presence of YHVH your God for seven days. You are to observe it as a feast to YHVH seven days in the year; it is a permanent regulation, generation after generation; keep it in the seventh month.”

This Fire offering entails:

Taking a decision to re-dedicate our lives to YHVH our God as a pleasing living sacrifice (read Romans 12:1-2), showing our love and commitment to Him by following in the footsteps of our Messiah Yeshua in obedience to the Father. And praying for fellow believers and those still lost or spiritually blinded (read Deuteronomy 6:5-7 and John 14:15).

The Harvest Picture of the FEAST OF TABERNACLES is the end of the latter Harvest Season: being a fruit harvest of Dates, Grapes & Figs

The purpose of the feast is: THANKSGIVING and much REJOICING

BIBLICAL HISTORY AND MEANING

Also called the Feast of Ingathering because it was at the end of the harvest season and the Feast of Booths because the Hebrews slept in booths or shelters during the feast (Exodus 23:16 and Deuteronomy 16:16). The Feast of Tabernacles celebrated the final ingathering of the harvest God had blessed the people with for the year. The fruit of the land had been reaped, so the people could rest from their work. It was a time of GREAT REJOICING and it completed the RELIGIOUS SEASONnumber seven in the Bible represents completionthe Feast of Tabernacles therefore represents the completed or finished work of God in both the present age in which we live and the lives of individual believers.

We reach SPIRITUAL MATURITY and REST in our souls in our walk with God this means we learn to rest in God and be content in whatever circumstances we find ourselves (Philippians 3:12-14 & 4:11-13)

The FEAST had two aspects associated with it:

  1. It looked back to the 40 years the Israelites (all 12 tribes including the mixed multitudes that were with themExodus 12:38) wandered in the desert living in shelters or tabernacles. They had to be reminded that the wanderings of their forefathers were brought about by UNBELIEF and DISOBEDIENCE, but it was only temporary. Even during these wanderings, GOD WAS IN THEIR MIDST, PROVIDING their every need and eventually bringing them into the LAND OF REST He had promised them.
  2. It looked forward – the shelters were loosely constructed so that the Israelites could see through its roof into the heavens. This reminded them that they were pilgrims passing through this life and that God had an even greater REST for them in the future when HE WOULD COME AND LIVE AMONG THEM PERMANENTLY (Hebrews 11:8-10).

THE DAY OF TABERNACLES, LIKE ALL THE OTHER FEASTS OF ABBA FATHER WILL BE FULFILLED BY YESHUA THE MESSIAH

Yeshua is the ultimate tabernacle (dwelling place) of God IN humans through the Holy Spirit, He is IMMANUEL – “God with us.”

The Word became a human being and lived with us, and we saw His Shekinah (glory), the Shekinah (glory) of the Father’s only Son, full of grace and truth.” (John 1:14) For in Him, bodily, lives the fullness of all that God (YHVH the Father) is.” (Colossians 2:9)

Yeshua will fulfil the Feast of Tabernacles at HIS 2nd COMING. There will then be a literal REST for the earth and all its inhabitantsuntil then we find REST IN HIM for our souls through a PERSONAL RELATIONSHIP WITH HIM (Matthew 11:28-30). YESHUA doesn’t give us life; HE IS OUR LIFE. He doesn’t give us peace; HE IS OUR PEACE. He doesn’t give us love; HE IS LOVE. HE IS ALL WE NEED. Many believers never enter into God’s rest because they seek things from God, rather than God Himself.

PERSONAL SIGNIFICANCE FOR US/ APPLICATION

There is a REST for our souls today as well as a future HEAVENLY REST.

We read in Hebrews 3:7-11 what we must do to enter this REST: “…TODAY, if you hear His voice, do not harden your hearts as in the rebellion, in the day of trial in the wilderness, where your fathers tested Me, tried Me and saw My works forty years. Therefore I was angry with that generation, and said, ‘They always go astray in their heart, and they have not known MY WAYS.’ So I swore in My wrath, “They shall not enter MY REST.”

It was God’s desire to lead the Hebrews into the PROMISED LAND OF REST. But an entire generation did not make it. They died in the wilderness because of UNBELIEF and DISOBEDIENCE brought about by a hard heart against God (Hebrews 3:16-19). We are warned TODAY against the same problem. We read in Hebrews 3:12-15 “Beware brethren, lest there be in any of you an EVIL HEART of UNBELIEF in DEPARTING FROM THE LIVING GOD; but exhort one another daily, while it is called ‘TODAY’, lest any of you be HARDENED THROUGH THE DECEITFULNESS OF SIN. For we have become PARTAKERS of MESSIAH if we hold the beginning of our confidence STEADFAST TO THE END, while it is said: “Today, if you hear His voice, DO NOT HARDEN YOUR HEARTS as in the rebellion.”

We see in Numbers 14:19-23 that the Hebrews who came out of Egypt and died in the wilderness WERE SAVED (out of slavery in Egypt), but THEY DID NOT ENTER GOD’S REST. God’s REST is NOT dying and going to heaven – it is LIVING in the FULLNESS of GOD”S LIFE HERE AND NOWIt is WALKING IN HIS PEACE, HIS POWER, and HIS REST as PICTURED in the FEASTS. In the Bible, EGYPT symbolizes the WORLD SYSTEM and the PROMISED LAND represents GOD’s REST. The WILDERNESS lies in between. When a person accepts Yeshua as Lord and Saviour, God delivers him and her out of a type of SPIRITUAL EGYPT but, EGYPT (the ways of the world) doesn’t always come out of the believer! Like the Hebrews of old, we as BELIEVERS WILL NOT enjoy God’s REST in our lives UNLESS we WALK WITH HIM in LOVING TRUST and OBEDIENCE.

YESHUA our MESSIAH desires for us to enter His REST in our soul in this PRESENT LIFE through a DAILY WALK WITH HIM. To do that we have to go through SEVEN STEPS:

 STEP 1-3 (Feast 1-3)

  • Accept YESHUA as the PASSOVER LAMB WHO DIED FOR OUR SINS (we get spiritually born again – read John 3:1-8). WE DIE to our OLD SELF/ LIFE (the Egypt in us) by putting off the old man and putting on the new man (Colossians 3:9-10). This produces the character of Yeshua in us.
  • Now we have PEACE with God.

STEP 4 (Feast 4)

  • We invite the Holy Spirit into our lives to lead, teach and comfort us and we become effective witnesses for the Kingdom of God.
  • Now we experience the POWER of God.

STEP 5-7 (Feast 5-7)

  • We go on to become a TABERNACLE FOLOWER OF YESHUA THE MESSIAH.
  • We learn how to conduct SPIRITUAL WARFARE, REPENT OF OUR SINS, and overcome the TRIALS of FAITH and develop and use our GIFTS to spread the GOOD NEWS of SALVATION.

As we take each of these steps in TRUST and OBEDIENCE to GOD, we will enjoy HIS DIVINE REST IN OUR SOULS

THE PROPHETIC ASPECT is the following:

The FEAST OF TABERNACLES represents the THOUSAND YEAR REIGN of PEACE of MESSIAH YESHUA on earth (Revelation 20). It will be a time of great rejoicing. The curse of sin will almost be completely lifted and Satan bound for a 1000 years so that both the earth and inhabitants will enjoy the REST OF GOD. The dragon, the ancient serpent, who is the devil, or Satan will be bound and thrown into the Abyss and it will be locked and sealed over him for a thousand years to KEEP HIM FORM DECEIVING THE NATIONS until the thousand years are ended. After that, he must be set free for a short time (Revelation 20:1-3). Those who had been beheaded for their witness of Yeshua and for the Word of God, who had NOT worshipped the beast or his image, and had not received his mark on their foreheads or on their hands will LIVE AND REIGN with YESHUA the MESSIAH for a THOUSAND YEARS.

The prophets talked about it:

  • Isaiah was looking forward to this time of REST when he wrote in Isaiah 51:11: “Therefore the redeemed for YHVH SHALL RETURN, and come with singing unto Zion; and EVERLASTING JOY shall be upon their head: they shall obtain GLADDNESS AND JOY; and sorrow and mourning shall flee away.”
  • In Zechariah 14:16 we see that the Feast of Tabernacles will still be celebrated during the thousand years of peace: “And it shall come to pass, that everyone who is left of all the nations which came against Jerusalem (so this seems to be people who survive Judgement Day / Armageddon), shall go up from year to year to worship the King, the Lord of hosts (Heavens Armies), and to keep the FEAST of TABERNACLES.”

Note: Remember: we read in the Word that during the thousand years reign of peace Yeshua the Messiah, the King, will teach the inhabitants of the earth His laws (Torah instructions found in Genesis to Deuteronomy) which include the Feasts of YHVH the Father! Read Jeremiah 31:30-33 (confirmed in Hebrews 8:10-12) and John 6:45 where Yeshua said: “It is written in the prophets: ‘They will all be taught by YHVH. Everyone who listens to the Father and learns from Him comes to Me.” Here Yeshua is referring to the prophecy in Isaiah 54:13 saying: “All your children will be taught by YHVH; your children will have great peace.”

In anticipation of this glorious time of rejoicing on earth, believers and followers of Yeshua the Messiah have been celebrating the Feast of Tabernacles in Jerusalem since 1980. Each year approximately 5000 believers from a 100 nations go to Jerusalem to keep the feast.

As wonderful as this time will be for the earth and all its inhabitants, it is still not the FINAL REST that God has for us. We learn from Leviticus 23:36 that there was a SPECIAL SABBATH on the EIGHTH DAY. This was a day of GREAT REJOICING and corresponds to the NEW HEAVEN AND NEW EARTH commencing (read Revelation chapters 21 & 22).

BUT BEFORE THIS FINAL REST there will be one FINAL TEST for MANKIND and a final warthe WAR OF GOG AND MAGOG: “When the thousand years are over, Satan will be released from his prison and will go out to deceive the nations in the four corners of the earthGOG and MAGOG – AND TO GATHER THEM FOR BATTLE. In number they are like the sand on the seashore. They marched across the breath of the earth and surrounded the camp of God’s people, the city He loves (Jerusalem – base of the thousand year kingdom). But FIRE came down FROM HEAVEN and devoured them. And the devil who DECEIVED them, was thrown into the LAKE OF BURNING SULPHUR (the LAKE OF FIRE), where the beast (the Antichrist/ Antimessiah) and the false prophet had been thrown (this was directly after the WAR of ARMAGEDON on JUDGEMENT DAY, read Revelation 19:19-21). THEY WILL BE TORMENTED DAY AND NIGHT FOR EVER AND EVER.” (Revelation 20:7-10 and Ezekiel chapters 36-38).

THE TABERNACLE PICTURE

The pictures/ imagery of the TABERNACLE and its furniture in the TORAH (Genesis tot Deuteronomy) improve our understanding and help us in taking practical steps in our journey to YHVH the Father through Yeshua our Messiah who is THE WAY, THE TRUTH and THE LIFE (according to John 14:6);

The TABERNACLE is YHVH THE FATHER’S PLAN and BLUEPRINT for SALVATION, PORTRAYING YESHUA THE MESSIAH from the beginning to the end.

The TABERNACLE on earth was just a copy and shadow of the heavenly original (Hebrews 8:3-8).

  • The TABERNACLE is a picture of Yeshua our Messiah who is indeed IMMANUEL, “God with us” and He Himself is God the everlasting Father according to Isaiah 7:14 and 9:6, living with us. Also read John 1:14 & 2:21, Hebrews 10:19-22 and Revelation 21:3.
  • Entering the gate of the TABERNACLE was only the beginning of the journey of forgiveness and only the high priest had the privilege to enter into the presence of YHVH with fear and trembling on behalf of the people of Israel. But today we know, Yeshua our Messiah is the Way (the Gate) leading to ABBA FATHER. “Yeshua said, ‘I AM the WAY – and the TRUTH and the LIFE; no one comes to the FATHER except through Me.’” (John 14:6).
  • He says in John 10:9 “I am the gate; if someone enters through Me, he will be safe and will go in and out and find pasture.”
  • And in John 5:37 & 39 He says: “…the Father who sent Me has Himself testified on My behalf…You keep examining the Tanakh (the Old Testament) because you think that in it you have eternal life. Those very Scriptures bear witness to Me, but you won’t come to Me in order to have life!”
  • Yeshua the Messiah is the GATE standing between the things of YHVH the Father in the OUTER COURT and the WORLD – His desire is to LET us IN not to hold us out. He is the gate, the way to ABBA Father.
  • And just as in the picture of the TABERNACLE, entering the gate is just the beginning of our journey in relationship with ABBA Father.

AFTER ENTERING THE GATE (through YESHUA OUR MESSIAH) WE HAVE TO FOLLOW SEVEN STEPS AS PART OF EVERY BELIEVER’S SALVATION AND SANCTIFICATION PROCESS

By this time in the SALVATION AND SANCTIFICATION PROCESS the believer:

STEP 1: Made PEACE with YHVH the Father through the sacrifice of our Messiah Yeshua.

PICTURES:

  • Feast 1: Passover/ Pesach
  • Tabernacle Furniture: the Bronze Altar in the Outer Court, a picture of the Cross
  • Redemptive Gift: the Prophet

STEP 2: Died to the old nature and being buried with Yeshua our Messiah in the water of baptism – with other words being baptized with water for repentance/ dying with the sinless Lamb of YHVH the Father, Yeshua our Messiah, to our slavery to sin/ the old self/ the flesh).

PICTURES:

  • Feast 2: Unleavened Bread/ Matzah
  • Tabernacle Furniture: the Bronze Washbasin in the Outer Court, a picture of Baptism and daily repentance for accidental sins
  • Redemptive Gift: the Servant

STEP 3: We are raised with Yeshua our Messiah to a new life in Him and learning to live a sanctified, set-apart life by studying the ways of YHVH the Father in His Word and applying it. This means we SHAMA – the only word in Hebrew for OBEDIENCE that means: to HEAR, to LISTEN, to GIVE ATTENTION, to UNDERSTAND, to SUBMIT to and to OBEY.

PICTURES:

  • Feast 3: First Fruits/ HaBikkurim
  • Tabernacle Furniture: The Table of Showbread in the Holy Place, a picture of daily eating and drinking the Word and being taught by the Holy Spirit
  • Redemptive Gift: The Teacher

STEP 4: Receiving the Holy Spirit by being baptized by Yeshua the Messiah WITH THE HOLY SPIRIT and with FIRE. John the Baptist was recorded in all four Gospels including Matthew 3:11 saying: “I baptize you with water for repentance. But after me comes One who is more powerful than I, whose sandals I am not worthy to carry. He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and fire.”

PICTURES:

  • Feast 4: Pentecost/ Shavuot
  • Tabernacle Furniture: The Menorah in the Holy Place, a picture of being filled with the Holy Spirit and fire, spreading the light (Good News of Salvation) of YHVH and Yeshua the Messiah to a dark world
  • Redemptive Gift: The Exhorter

STEP 5: Ultimately preparing and getting ready for entering into the presence of, and therefore into a relationship with Abba Father through prayer and worship.

PICTURES:

  • Feast 5: Feast of Trumpets/ Yom Teruah
  • Tabernacle Furniture: The Altar of Incense in the Holy Place, a picture of prayer, worship and intercession
  • Redemptive Gift: The Giver

STEP 6: Entering into the holy presence of YHVH and being evaluated for purity and fitness to rule with Messiah Yeshua in the thousand-year reign of peace – this is therefore standing as a believer before the JUDGEMENT SEAT OF YESHUA prior to joining Him in JUDGEMENT DAY of the enemies of YHVH.

PICTURES:

  • Feast 6: The Day of Atonement/ Yom Kippur also called JUDGEMENT DAY
  • Tabernacle Furniture: the ARK OF THE COVENANT in the HOLIEST PLACE containing the TEN COMMANDMENTS OF YHVH (the LOVE INSTRUCTIONS of ABBA FATHER to LOVE HIM above all else and to LOVE OUR NEIGHBOUR AS OURSELVES and in so doing LIVE abundantly), the staff of Aaron (indicating taking up our Godly given AUTHORITHY) and the pot of manna (indicating the PROVITION of ABBA FATHER).
  • Redemptive Gift: The Ruler

Then we are ready for:

STEP 7: Living in the presence of Messiah Yeshua and ruling with Him in the thousand-year reign of peace and thereafter live with Him and Abba Father in eternity. The Feast of Tabernacles/ Sukkot is seven days, followed by the 8th Day Solemn Assembly and eternity.

PICTURES:

  • Feast 7: The FEAS of TABERNACLES/ Sukkot
  • Tabernacle Furniture: The MERCY SEAT in the in the HOLIEST PLACE

The meaning is: TO TABERNACLE FOREVER IN THE PRESENCE OF YHVH THE FATHER AND YESHUA THE MESSIAH

The MERCY SEAT represents the MERCY of ABBA FATHER through the precious BLOOD of YESHUA our MESSIAH poured out for us and sprinkled on the MERCY SEAT. Yeshua the Messiah literally drank the cup of YHVH the Father’s judgement on sin on behalf of all people who accepts Him as their Savior, believe in Him and follow Him in obedience to the Word (the Torah) of YHVH.

Through Yeshua the Messiah, believers are RECONCILED with ABBA FATHER and He keeps on acting as our HIGH PRIEST in the ORDER OF MELCHIZEDEK. Believers therefore obey the Torah (the instructions for LIFE in Genesis to Deuteronomy), summed up in the Ten Commandments and placed in the Ark of the Covenant, BUT, it no longer has the ability to assign the DEATH PENALTY to us because the full price has been PAID by YESHUA our MESSIAH and we died to the flesh with Him and are now LIVING FOR HIM.

  • Redemptive Gift: The Mercy

He who does acts of mercy, with genuine cheerfulness and joyful eagerness (enthusiasm)… (Romans 12:8)

THE MERCY also called the GIFT OF COMPASSION does acts of mercy (compassion and kindness) cheerfully (joyfully, gladly and happily) and is therefore the HEART AND EARS of the Body of Messiah.

The holiest spot in the holiest place of the Tabernacle of YHVH was the Mercy Seat. Hammered from a solid piece of gold, it served as the lid of the Ark of the Covenant. It was breathtakingly beautiful with the angels’ wings arching over it that spoke of Heaven itself as it should since it was here that God chose to manifest His presence. (Read Exodus chapters 25-27 and Hebrews 9:3-5).

The word for Mercy Seat in Hebrew is kapporeth, meaning “a place of covering.” Of course, it was the covering of the Ark but more than that it speaks of the covering for sin, further emphasized by the yearly sprinkling of blood upon it. The necessity of a sacrifice points out once again how greatly our sin grieves God the Father. In the Tabernacle this message is repeated at the Brazen Altar, the Laver, the Table of Showbread, the Golden Lampstand (Menorah) and the sacrifices associated with the Golden Altar of Incense. All have some form of sacrifice that must be offered because we as a people are sinful. Sin must be reckoned with so that YHVH our God who is wrapped in holiness can allow us to approach Him.

The gift of Mercy is represented by the Mercy Seat. This is where the MOST SIGNIFICANT LEVEL OF HOLINESS is required. There is no place for defilement, no sin is allowed. If the priest went into the Holly of Hollies with sin in His life, he immediately dropped dead. Yeshua our Messiah fortunately paid the price for our sin in full and therefore tore the veil in order for us to approach Abba Father boldly. But the highest level of holiness is still expected in the daily walk with YHVH from the mature Mercy to optimally function in their gift to make the glory of His presence known.

The Mercy has to soak up the presence of YHVH and then bring it to other people, and to not keep it only for themselves. The Mercy can stay in the presence of YHVH the whole day, no matter what they are busy doing. The Mercy gift is the bridge between heaven and earth. Mercy has a “Blessing of presence” anointing. Without saying a word, the Mercy will change the spiritual atmosphere.

Although the Mercy gift has this special blessing, every person’s spirit has the privilege and authority in the Holy Spirit to walk over the threshold from earth to heaven into the presence of YHVH. And therefore each of us have to ask ourselves if we live in the gracious and loving presence of Abba Father? And do I show HIS LOVE and GRACE to other people – first of all my own loved ones and family and then to all other people I am in contact with on a daily basis?

A few important aspects to take note of:

  • The LAW of YHVH (the Torah – Genesis to Deuteronomy instructions summed up in the Ten Commandments) & MERCY are inseparable and represent the ARK of the COVENANT with its MERCY SEAT (read Psalm 119:77 & 156 and James 2:13);
  • ABBA FATHER’s MERCY IS FOR THOSE WHO FEAR HIM (read Luke 1:50);
  • Just like FORGIVENESS, RECEIVING MERCY from YHVH is dependent on us GIVING MERCY to others (REAP/ SOW principle of YHVH) (read 2 Samuel 24:14, Psalm 18:25, 57:1 & 111:4, Matthew 5:7, 6:14-15 & 18:1-35 and James 2:13).

DURING THE SEVEN DAYS OF THE FEAST

We GIVE THANKS to Abba Father and we REJOICE. Families may consider building and spending time in a Sukkah (meaning a temporary dwelling of some kind, like a tent), with your family to remember we are on earth only temporarily, and looking forward to the thousand years REIGN of PEACE of Yeshua our Messiah.

Bible Study to be considered are the following Scriptures:

  • His Love Endures Forever (Psalm 118).
  • Marriage at the resurrection (Matthew 22:23-33, Mark 12:18-27 and Luke 20:27-39).
  • Yeshua goes to the Feast of Tabernacles (John 7:1-13).
  • Yeshua teaches at the Feast of Tabernacles (John 7:14-24).
  • The Wedding Feast of the Lamb (Revelation 19:6-9).

  • The Thousand Years (Revelation 20:4-6)
  • The release of Satan at the end of the thousand years, the GOG and MAGOG WAR and the judgement of Satan (Revelation 20:7-10).

THEN ON THE EIGHT DAY OF THE FEAST

WE FIND THE TORAH INSTRUCTION OF Abba Father for the annual observing of the FEAST OF TABERNACLES in:

Leviticus 23:36

“… on the eight day you are to have a holy convocation and bring an offering made by fire to YHVH; it is a day op public assembly; do not do any kind of ordinary work.”

Fire offering

Taking a decision to re-dedicate our lives to YHVH our God as a pleasing living sacrifice (Romans 12:1-2), showing our love and commitment to Him by following in the footsteps of our Messiah Yeshua in obedience to the Father. And we also pray for fellow believers and those still lost or spiritually blinded (Deuteronomy 6:5-7 and John 14:15).

Harvest Picture & Meaning

Olive harvest AFTER the feast of Tabernacles

The purpose is: The 8th DAY with a DUAL FOCUS:

  • The Great White Throne Judgement (Revelation 20:11-15); and
  •  Eternity for those whose names are written in the Book of Life. This will be a day of GREAT REJOICING and corresponds to eternity on the NEW HEAVEN AND NEW EARTH (Revelation 21 & 22)

THE WHITE THRONE JUDGEMENT OF YHVH THE FATHER (this is the SECOND DEATH)

We read about it in several passages in the Word – please see the information document attached. One of these passages is:

In Revelation 20:1-10 where we read about the resurrection of those who testified about Yeshua and proclaimed the Word of God (the Father) and who had not worshipped the beast or his image neither received his mark and who ruled with Yeshua the Messiah during the THOUSAND YEAR REIGN OF PEACE, BUT we read in verse 5: “The REST OF THE DEAD DID NOT COME TO LIFE UNTIL THE THOUSAND YEARS WERE OVER.” And then in line with the prophecy of Daniel in chapter 12:1-3, we read in Revelation 20:11-15 “Next, I (John) saw a great white throne and One sitting on it. Earth and heaven fled from His presence, and no place was found for them. And I saw the dead, both great and small, standing in front of the throne. BOOKS WERE OPENED; and ANOTHER BOOK WAS OPENED, THE BOOK OF LIFE; and THE DEAD WERE JUDGED FROM WHAT WAS WRITTEN in the BOOKS, ACCORDING TO WHAT THEY HAD DONE. The sea gave up the dead in it; and DEATH and SHEOL (HADES, the place the dead unbelievers are kept until the White Throne Judgement), gave up the dead in them; and THEY WERE JUDGED, EACH ACCORDING TO WHAT HE HAD DONE. Then Death and Sheol were hurled into the lake of fire. THIS IS THE SECOND DEATH –THE LAKE OF FIRE. ANYONE WHOSE NAME WAS NOT FOUND WRITTEN IN THE BOOK OF LIFE WAS HURLED INTO THE LAKE OF FIRE.” (Revelation 20:11-15)

  • ETERNITY for those whose names are written in the Book of Life – NEW HEAVEN AND NEW EARTH

There were TWO rituals associated with the FEAST of TABERNACLES that took place on the LAST DAY OF THE FEAST:

1. THE POURING OF WATER.

This took place on the last day of the feast. The day was called Hoshanah Rabbah (in Hebrew) which means: The Day of the Great Hosanna (this word express adoration, praise or joy and means: “save now or deliver us”). On this day they prayed for rain to soften the ground for ploughing and YHVH’s SALVATION THROUGH MESSIAH who would give them the LIVING WATERS of HIS SPIRIT. They singed and praised God with the word of Isaiah 12:3 & 44:4 “…with JOY you will draw water from the WELLS OF SALVATION.”

Yeshua kept the FEAST in obedience to the TORAH and at the outpouring of the water He boldly declared: “On the LAST DAY, that GREAT DAY OF THE FEAST, Yeshua stood and cried out, saying: ‘If anyone THIRSTS, let him come to Me and DRINK. He who believes IN ME, as the Scripture has said, out of his HEART will flow RIVERS of LIVING WATER (John 7:37-39) – With this Yeshua was saying: Look unto Me and be saved now. I am the GREAT HOSANNA. I am your salvation. I will give the LIVING WATERS of the HOLY SPIRIT to all who will receive Me as the TRUE TABERNACLE OF GOD, THE FATHER.

2. THE LIGHTING OF THE TEMPLE

Tens of thousands of pilgrims came to Jerusalem to keep the feast and would carry a LIGHTING TORCH so that the ENTIRE CITY WAS ILLUMINATED for miles!

This had a physical and spiritual significance. Plenty of sunshine was needed along with the rain to have a successful agricultural season. They thanked God for the sun that was necessary for the life of the harvest. They also recognized GOD HIMSELF is the TRUE LIGHT (Psalm 27:1) who would give them SPIRITUAL LIGHT and LIFE through MESSIAH.

Yeshua made another bold statement during the Feast: “…saying, I am the LIGHT OF THE WORLD. He who follows Me shall never walk in darkness, but have the LIGHT OF LIFE.” (John 8:12).

Yeshua therefore CLEARLY and POWERFULLY proclaimed that HE WAS THE REALITY to which the feast pointed.

The EIGHTH DAY will be a day of GREAT REJOICING and the commencing of eternity on the NEW HEAVEN AND NEW EARTH (Revelation 21 & 22)

  • God will transfer His home from heaven to earth and He will dwell in our midst in a NEW JERUSLEM.
  • This is the FINAL rest all believers are waiting for.
  • There shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying and no pain.
  • There is a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal proceeding from the throne of God and the Lamb.
  • In the middle of the street, and on either side of the river, will be the TREE of LIFE, which bore 12 fruits every month.
  • There shall be no more curse.
  • We will serve the Lord and see His face and His name shall be on our foreheads.

There shall be no night and therefore no need for the sun or lamps “…for the YHVH, God will shine upon them. And they will reign as kings forever and ever.” (Revelation 22:5).

SO IN SUMMARY

THE EIGHT DAY SOLEMN ASSEMBLY:

Takes place on 22 Tishri, that is sundown on 13 to sundown on 14 October 2025 on our calendar. And it must according to Abba Father’s specifications be celebrated as a SABBATH.

THE PURPOSE AND ACTIONS TO BE TAKEN IN THIS DAY

FINAL JUDGEMENT and VICTORY for those who will not die the second death.
