PREPARATION FOR THE THIRD SEASON FEASTS: THE CONGREGATION OF EPHESUS (Revelation 2:1-3)

The KING is in the FIELD! AWAKEN the BELIEVERS!

1.EPHESUS (Revelation 2:1-3)

MESSIAH YESHUA REVEALS HIMSELF AS:

• THE ONE who HOLDS the SEVEN STARS (the angels/ messengers of the Seven Congregations) in HIS RIGHT HAND; and

• Who WALKS among the SEVEN GOLDEN MENORRAH’S (the seven branched lampstand), representing HOLY SPIRIT FILLED CONGREGATIONS/ BELIEVERS set ablaze with YHVH’S LIGHT.

THEY ARE COMMENDED FOR:

• Their HARD WORK.

• PERSERVERANCE, being willing to suffer for His Name’s sake.

• NOT TOLERATING wicked people/ evil.

• TESTING the messages of apostles against THE TRUTH of THE WORD of YHVH to find out if they are liars or not.

SOUL SEARCHING

1. Do I WORK HARD, along with fellow believers to bring in the HARVEST for THE KINGDOM of YHVH our GOD, using the specific GIFT and CALLING HE GAVE me?

2. Am I WILLING to PERSERVERE, even if I have to face SUFFERING for HIS NAME’S SAKE?

3. Am I TOLERATING wicked people, ALLOWING them to INFLUENCE my life and the lives of others with evil?

4. Do I TEST every message I hear or read against THE TRUTH of THE WORD of YHVH and discard that which is not in line with THE TRUTH?

REPENTANCE (according to 1 John 1:5-10)

• Consider acknowledging (admit, recognize, confess) your answers to the questions above that is not in line with what Messiah Yeshua requires from us as believers.

• Receive HIS FORGIVENESS and PURIFICATION from all wrongdoing.

RESTORATION

• Actively TURN AWAY from this behavior DAILY and FOLLOW in the FOOTSTEPS of YEHSUA the MESSIAH by OBEYING ABBA FATHER with the help and guidance of the HOLY SPIRIT.

• RESIST old behavior patterns of the flesh by PUTTING ON THE WHOLE ARMOR of GOD the FATHER (Ephesians 6:10-18).

• Understanding that our fight is NOT against people but against the evil forces of darkness in the heavenly realm.

• Buckling up with the TRUTH of YHVH’s WORD around our waists, reading and meditating on the WORD of GOD DAILY and in so doing STORING IT UP IN OUR HEARTS and MIND.

• Putting on HIS RIGHTEOUSNESS as a BEASTPLATE to protect our hearts from destructive emotions.

• Putting on our feet the READINESS to share HIS GOOD NEWS OF PEACE (SHALOM) everywhere we go.

• ALWAYS carrying the SHIELD of FAITH right around us – protecting us from ALL SIDES against the enemy’s flaming arrow attacks on the body, soul and spirit, and WLAKING in FAITH, not by SIGHT and KNOWING that Abba Father causes EVERYTHING to work together for the GOOD for those who LOVE HIM and are CALLED in accordance with HIS PURPOSE (2^nd Corinthians 5:7 & Romans 8:28).

• Putting on the HELMET OF SALVATION – knowing for sure that we are saved and delivered from the slavery of sin by MESSIAH YESHUA and keeping our thoughts focused on HIS TEACHINGS IN THE WORD and following Him in OBEDIENCE to ABBA FATHER.

• Taking up the SWORD of the SPIRIT – the WORD of YHVH in fighting ALL our battles, like our Messiah illustrated to us in Luke chapter 4.

• And finally PRAYING at ALL times, in ALL circumstances and for ALL fellow believers in the world.
