WAKE-UP CALL: Part 5 – Come out of Babylon! By CHOOSING to HEAR THE WORD, UNDERSTAND IT and to BEAR FRUIT

We are moving on to the last part of our study on what the WORD tells us in terms of COMING OUT OF BABYLON so that we do not share in her sins, plagues and consequent destruction.  (Revelation 18:4-5).

In our study we focused on what Yeshua our Messiah explained in His PARABLE on the SOWER and the SEED in Matthew 13:1-23 (also read Mark 4:1-20 and Luke 8:4-15). From this PARABLE we identified THREE DANGERS to be OVERCOMED to ESCAPE from BABYLON and RETURN to ABBA FATHER’s WORD namely:

1. HEARING the MESSAGE (the GOOD NEWS) of the KINGDOM of YHVH but not UNDERSTANDING (comprehending, grasping, appreciating) it due to a HARDENED HEART; and

2. HEARING the MESSAGE (the GOOD NEWS) of the KINGDOM of YHVH and ACCEPTING it with JOY, but not being GROUNDED (rooted, firmly established) in it and FEARING PERSECUTION; and

3. HEARING the MESSAGE (the GOOD NEWS) of the KINGDOM of YHVH, but it gets choked (blocked, stopped) by the WORRIES of the WORLD and the DECEITFUL GLAMOR of WEALTH and the PLEASURES of LIFE.

And today we are focusing on the THOSE BELIEVERS WHO DID SUCCEED TO COME OUT OF BABYLON and are able to:

4. HEAR the MESSAGE (the GOOD NEWS) of the KINGDOM of YHVH, UNDERSTAND it and BEAR FRUIT.

In the PARABLE of the SOWER told by Yeshua in Matthew 13:8 some SEEDS SOWED, fell into RICH SOIL and PRODUCED GRAIN, a HUNDRED  or SIXTY or THIRTY TIMES as much as had been SOWN.  He then explained in verse 23 this means: “The SEED SOWN on RICH SOIL is the one who HEARS the MESSAGE, and UNDERSTANDS (comprehends, grasps, appreciates) it; such a person will SURELY BEAR FRUIT, a HUNDRED or SIXTY or THRITY TIMES what was sown.

This reminds us also of Yeshua our Messiah’s PARABLE on the TALENTS (gifts,  capabilities) in Matthew 25:14-30 as well as Luke19:11-27 forming part of what we will be evaluated on during His SECOND COMING since ALL OF US RECEIVED GIFTS at birth, including a CALLING and GIFTS from the Holy Spirit to enable us to BEAR FRUIT for the KINGDOM of YHVH our GOD. Also read Luke 14:14, 1^st Corinthians 9:24-27, Colossians 3:24, 2^nd Timothy 4:7-8, Hebrews 6:10-11 & 12:1-3, 1^st Peter 5:4, Revelation 2:7, 11, 17, 23, 26-28, and Revelation 3:5, 11-12, and 21 as well as Revelation 19:7-9, 20:4-6 and 22:12.

Paul explains our TALENTS also called GIFTS as follows in Ephesians 2:10 “For we are of GOD (the FATHER’s) MAKING (creation), CREATED (formed) in UNION with the Messiah Yeshua (referring to our REBIRTH in dying with Yeshua our Messiah to our old nature/ the flesh and being raised as a NEW person with Him) for a LIFE of GOOD ACTIONS (deeds, activities) ALREADY PREPARED (as equipped through our GIFTS) by GOD THE FATHER for us TO DO.”

We must first understand where this parable of the TALENTS (Gifts) fits in. In Matthew 25 Yeshua our Messiah tells THREE PARABLES representing the THIRD FEAST SEASON of ABBA FATHER, consisting of FEAST 5 to 7, namely first we read in Matthew 25:1-13 the PARABLE of:

1. THE FIVE WISE and FIVE FOOLSIH VIRGINS – a representation of FEAST 5 of YHVH: THE FEAST OF TRUMPETS, serving as a WAKE-UP CALL, ANNOUNCING the SECOND COMING of YESHUA our MESSIAH and the FIRST RESURECTION of BORN AGAIN BELIEVERS who go into the BRIDAL CHAMBERS as we read in 1 Thessalonians 4:13-14 and Revelation 19:5-9; next we read about the PARABLE of:

2. THE TALENTS (gifts, capabilities, abilities) in Matthew 25:14-30 – a representation of FEAST 6 of YHVH: THE DAY OF ATONEMENT that constitutes two phases, namely phase 1 – the JUDGEMENT of the RESURECTED BELIEVERS. We also read in Luke 14:14 Yeshua saying: “You will be REPAID (recompensed, rewarded) at the RESSURECTION of the RIGHTEOUSS.” Also read Genesis 15:1, Proverbs 11:18, Matthew 16:27, 1 Corinthians 15:58, 2 Corinthians 5:10, Colossians 3:23-24, Galatians 6:9, 1^st Timothy 6:17-19, Hebrews 6:10 and Revelation 20:4-6, 22:12.

Peter explains it in 1^st Peter 4:17-19 as follows: “For the TIME has come for the JUDGEMENT (ruling, decision, verdict) to begin. It BEGINS with the HOUSEHOLD OF GOD; and if it STARTS with us (believers); what will the OUTCOME be for those who are DISOBEYING GOD’s GOOD NEWS? – (and then he quotes Proverbs 11:31) ‘If the RGIHTEOUS is barely delivered, where will the ungodly (non-believers in God) and sinful end up?’ So let those who are suffering according to God’s will entrust themselves to a faithful Creator by continuing to Do what is GOOD.”

And phase 2 – the JUDGEMENT of the ENEMIES of YHVH which entails JUDGEMENT DAY also called ARMAGEDON that has to do with the SEVEN LAST PLAGUES  poured out as SEVEN BOWLS FILLED with GOD the FATHER’s FURY poured out on the earth (read Revelation chapters 15-17 as well as Revelation 19:11-21).

Please note: the BELIEVERS who formed part of the FIRST RESURECTION will not experience the SEVEN BOWL JUDGEMENTS, on the contrary they will be with YESHUA the MESSIAH during this time of WAR on the earth as we read in Revelation 14:1-5, 17:14 and 19:14. THE WAR OF ARMAGEDON will end with the beast (also called the antichrist/ false messiah) and the false prophet both being thrown into the LAKE of FIRE burning with SULPHUR as we read in Revelation 19:20. And the rest of the dead (those who fought as enemies against the Messiah) did not come alive until the thousand years were over (read Revelation 20:5).

Thereafter FEAST 7 of YHVH: THE FEAST OF TABERNACLES will commence – the Thousand Year Reign of Yeshua our Messiah as KING as we read in Revelation 19:1-7 as well as 20:1-6. And when the thousand years are over, the Adversary (Satan) that was chained and locked up in the Abyss prior to the thousand year reign of Messiah Yeshua, will now be released again for the FINAL TESTING of the nations in the four quarters of the earth, resulting in the GOG and MAGOG WAR as also prophesied in Ezekiel 38. Unfortunately a countless number of people will again fall for his temptations and rise up against YHVH’s people who formed part of the FIRST RESURECTION, but FIRE coming from heaven will consume them and the Adversary (Satan) will be thrown into the LAKE of FIRE and SULPHUR where the beast (the antichrist/ false messiah) and false prophet already are, as we read in Revelation 20:7-10. And on the 8^th Day of the Feast of Tabernacles called THE LAST DAY, the GREAT WHITE THRONE JUDGEMENT will take place and this is what the next PARABLE, we read in Matthew 25:31-46 is all about, namely the:

3. SHEEP AND GOAT JUDEGEMENT. As we read in Revelation 20:11-15 ALL PEOPLE WHO EVER LIVED WILL STAND IN FRONT OF HIS THRONE and WILL BE JUDGED in ACCORDANCE to TWO COMPONENTS, namely WHAT WAS WRITTEN IN THE BOOKS, ACCORDING TO WHAT THEY HAD DONE (meaning determining whether they lived in OBEDIENCE to GOD THE FATHER and used the GIFTS they were given to fulfil their KINGDOM PURPOSE) AND WHETHER THEIR NAMES WERE WRITTEN IN THE LAMBS BOOK OF LIFE (meaning whether they accepted Yeshua the Messiah as their SAVIOR).  And this will determine THOSE WHO LIVE FOREVER WITH GOD the FATHER and YESHUA THE LAMB and THOSE WHO WILL BE THROWN into the LAKE OF FIRE (the LAKE OF FIRE is THE SECOND DEATH).  DEATH and SHEOL (HADES also called HEL, the place where the unsaved dead as well as the fallen angels are held for the DAY of JUDGEMENT), will also be hurled into the LAKE of FIRE and therefore no death or hell will exist any longer. HalleluYAH, praise YHVH our God!

In THE PARABLE OF THE TALENTS, the servants who used their talents (GIFTS, capabilities) were praised for their service as GOOD and FAITHFUL servants and were promised to be put in charge in positions with more responsibility and were invited to share in their master’s happiness. But, the servant who buried his talent (GIFT, capability) and therefore did not develop and use it to the benefit of THE KINGDOM were thrown out in the dark, where people will wail and grind their teeth, meaning that this person will NOT BE ABLE to ENTER the KINGDOM of GOD and will be filled with regret and sorrow. Also read the PARABLE of the WEDDING in Matthew 22:1-14.

Paul explains it in 1 Corinthians 3:8b-15 saying: “…each will be REWARDED ACCORDING to his WORK (labor). For we are God’s coworkers; you are God’s field, God’s building. Using the GRACE God gave me, I (Paul) laid the foundation, like a wise builder; and another man is building on it. But let each one be careful how he builds. For no one can lay any foundation other than the one already laid, which is YESHUA the MESSIAH. Some will use GOLD, SILVER or PRECIOUS STONES in building on this FOUNDATION; while others will use WOOD, GRASS and STRAW. But each one’s WORK will be shown for what it is, the (capital letter) DAY will disclose it, because it will be revealed by FIRE – the FIRE will TEST the QUALITY of each one’s WORK. If the WORK someone has built on the foundation survives, he will RECEIVE A REWARD; if it is BURNED up, he will have to BEAR the LOSS: he will STILL ESCAPE WITH his life, but it will be like escaping through FIRE.

We must therefore never underestimate our RESPONSIBILITY in IDENTIFYING (RECEIVING) and DEELOPING our GIFTS and FULFIL our PURPOSE. We will have to give an account on these when we stand before the JUDGEMENT SEAT of YESHUA our MESSIAH after HIS SECOND COMING during the FIRST RESURECTION as also warned by Paul in 2nd Corinthians 5:10 saying: “….for we (believers) must ALL appear before the MESSIAH’s COURT OF JUDGEMENT, where everyone will receive the GOOD or BAD consequences of what he DID while he was in the body (Also read Romans 14:10b-12 and 2^nd John 1:8). And in Philippians 2:12-16 Paul encourages the believers to be OBEDIENT and to: “keep working out your DELIVERANCE with FEAR and TREMBLING for God is the ONE WORKING among both the WILLING and the WORKING for what PLEASES HIM. DO EVERYTHING without grumbling or arguing, so that you may be BLESSED and PURE children of God, without DEFECT in the midst of a twisted and perverted generation, among whom you shine like stars, as you HOLD ON TO THE WORD of LIFE. If you DO this, I (Paul) will be able to boast, when the (capital letter) DAY of the MESSIAH comes, that I did not run or toil for nothing.”

We read in the PARABLE of the SOWER told by Yeshua in Matthew 13:8 the PREREQUISITES to BEAR FRUIT is, the SEED (the Word) has to be SOWN on RICH SOIL, meaning a person who are able to HEAR the MESSAGE of the GOOD NEWS of YHVH, and UNDERSTANDS (comprehends, grasps, appreciates) it.

So to learn more about it, we are going to look at EXAMPLES of these kind of people in the WORD, WHO UNDERSTOOD the WORD of YHVH, CHOSE TO OBEY IT AND THEN BEAR FRUIT.

TWO such examples are NOAH and LOT.

Yeshua our Messiah WARNED us that He is RETURNING in a TIME like the time in which Noah lived. We read in Matthew 24:37-39 “For the Son of Man’s coming will be just as it was in the days of Noah. Back then, before the Flood, people went on eating and drinking, taking wives and becoming wives, right up until the day Noah entered the ark, and THEY DIDN’T KNOW WHAT WAS HAPPENING until the Flood came and swept them ALL away (Read Genesis chapters 6-7). IT WILL BE JUST LIKE THAT WHEN THE SON OF MAN COMES.” Also read Luke 17:26-27). And in Luke 17:28-30 “Likewise as it was in the time of Lot, people ate and drank, bought and sold, planted and built; but THE DAY Lot left Sodom, FIRE and SULFUR rained down from heaven and DESTROYED them ALL.” Read Genesis chapters 18-19.

So what Yeshua our Messiah is saying here is that people will live as normal and in sin and His coming will be SUDDENLY and UNEXPECTED for those who did not heed the signs of the time as depicted in the WORD of Abba Father and did not LISTEN TO GOD to BUILT and ENTER the ARK of HIS PROTECTION or as in Lot and his family’s case follow God’s instructions to leave the city on the brink of destruction due to their sinfulness, for a save place, HIDING IN ABBA FATHER’s SHELTER as we also read in Psalm 91. Because EVERY ONE not in the ARK or the SHELTER of Abba Father during the SECOND COMING of MESSIAH YESHUA WILL BE DESTROYED, because, as in the CASE of NOAH, the WHOLE EARTH will be involved in the DESTRUCTION, but unlike in the case of Noah’s time, this time it will not be DESTROYED with WATER, but more like in Lot’s time, with FIRE as Peter tells us in 2^nd Peter 3:10b.

Peter explains in 2nd Peter 3:5-10a the LAST DAY scoffers asking where is the promised coming of Yeshua: “…overlook the fact that it was by God’s Word that long ago there were heavens, and there were land that rose out of water and existed between the waters, and that by means of these things the world of that time was FLOODED with WATER and DESTROYED. It is by that SAME WORD that the present heavens and earth, having been preserved, are being kept for FIRE until the DAY of JUDGEMENT, when ungodly people will be DESTROYED…YHVH is not slow in keeping His promise, as some people think of slowness; on the contrary, He is patient with you; for it is not His purpose that anyone should be destroyed, but that EVERYONE should TURN from their SINS. However, the Day of Master Yeshua (referring to His SECOND COMING) will come “like a thief’ (meaning unexpectedly, suddenly)”. Also read the confirmation in Deuteronomy 29:23 and the prophecies in Isaiah 30:30, 66:15-16, Mica 1:4, Nahum 1:5-6, Zephaniah 1:18 & 3:8  and Psalm 97:3 & 5.

Both of these CASES reminds us of the IMPORTANCE of OBEDIENCE to GOD’s INSTRUCTIONS and WARNINGS in order to KEEP us save.

DURING NOAH’s time God destroyed the earth due to:

• The sons of God (referring to angels as we also read in Job 1:6-12 and 2:1-6, who chose for themselves wives among the daughters of men and had children with them called Nephilim (a Hebrew word meaning: “fallen ones” and is sometimes translated as giants). Read Genesis 6:1-2.

The Complete Jewish Study Bible – Insight for Jews & Christians explains: The Nephilim, translated as “fallen ones” caused the ENTIRE WORLD to FALL. They possessed incredible physical strength, had generally evil intentions and corrupted the world greatly).

We also read about them in 2^nd Peter 2:4 saying: “For God did not spare the angels who sinned; on the contrary, He put them in gloomy dungeons (prisons) lower than sheol to be held for judgement (sheol is a Hebrew word for hades or hell, a place where the unsaved dead are kept until the LAST DAY, the Day of the Great White Throne Judgment we read about in Revelation 20:11-15). And Peter further says in 2^nd Peter 2:5 “And He did not spare the ANCIENT WORLD, on the contrary, HE PRESERVED NOAH, a herald (representative) of RIGHTEOUSNESS (virtue, morality, justice, blamelessness), with SEVEN others, and brought the FLOOD upon a world of ungodly people.”. And Jude says in Jude 1:6: “And the angels that did not keep within their original authority, but abandoned their proper sphere (domain, place, territory), He kept in DARKNESS, bound with EVERLASTING CHAINS for the JUDGEMETN of the GREAT DAY.”

So here we see the sons of God as mentioned in Genesis 6:1-2 are clearly identified as the angels who sinned.

We further read in Genesis 6:5-7:

• YHVH SAW that the people on earth were wicked (depraved, immoral, corrupt, evil, malicious), that all the imaginings (thoughts) of their hearts were always evil (sinful).

• YHVH REGRETED that He had made mankind on the earth; it GRIEVED (saddened, disappointed, wounded) HIS HEART.

• YHVH said, ‘I will WIPE OUT humankind, whom I have CREATED, from the WHOLE EARTH; and not only human beings, but animals, creeping things and birds in the air; for I REGRET that I ever made them.

• We also read in Genesis 6:13 the earth was filled with violence.

But we read in Genesis 6:8 and 9 “…NOAH FOUND GRACE in the SIGHT of YHVH…Noah was a RIGHTEOUS man, BLAMELESS (innocent, spotless/ unblemished) among the people of his time, and he WALKED FAITHFULLY (loyally, steadfastly, devotedly) with GOD.  

Unfortunately, many of the generations of Noah’s sons stemming from especially Ham, but also some of Japheth and Shem’s generations following them, did not choose to conquer and have victory over sin as Abba Father taught Cain in Genesis 4:7. God told Cain that sin is crouching at his door wanting him, but he CAN RULE over sin (note: he can, therefore ruling over sin is a CHOICE each one of us must make) which we unfortunately know Cain did not choose to do and therefore SIN RULED OVER him and sadly, specifically Ham chose the same way as Cain, following his own desires (the FLESH) and as James explains, in James 1:14 was dragged off and enticed by the bait of his own desire, giving birth to sin, leading to death.

The reason may be that Noah’s children were exposed to the sinful life before the flood since the Word tells us in Genesis 5:32 that Noah was 500 years old when he fathered Shem, Ham and Japheth, and we read in Genesis 7:6 that Noah was 600 years old when the FLOOD occurred. Therefore unfortunately all three his sons were exposed for a part of their lives to the corrupt sinful world before the flood occurred and we are not told in the word that they were RIGHTEOUS. We however read in Genesis 9:1 that God BLESSED Noah and his sons but unfortunately we read in Genesis 9:20-27 that Ham showed unrighteous characteristics in not honoring his father by exposing him (meaning uncovering his sins) by gossiping about him and ridiculing (mocking) him in front of his brothers, instead of helping his father Noah to cover his sin/ recover from his sins by saving his honor like Shem and Japeth did, showing their righteous characteristics.

Noah himself was not perfect – just as none of us are – the WORD of YHVH tells us that ALL OF US ARE SINNERS and in need of a SAVIOR (Romans 3:23) and we read in Genesis 9:20-21 that Noah was a FARMER, and the first to plant a vineyard. He drank so much of the wine that he got drunk and lay uncovered in his tent, creating an opportunity for sin crouching at the door of Ham who saw his father and CHOSE to expose his nakedness, rather than to protect (safeguard), cover (shelter and shield) and bear (tolerate, stand with) with his father in LOVE as 1 Corinthians 13:7 teaches us to do.

So as the Word reminds us, if we want to boast, we should rather boast in YHVH our God.  Noah’s sons and their offspring committed many sins. But we also know, Abba Father ALWAYS SAVES a RIGHTEOUS REMNANT that are WILLING, to LIKE NOAH OBEY Him and follow His WAYS.

The CITIES of SODOM and GEMORRAH were DESTROYED by GOD due to the following reasons:

• It was the territory of the Canaanites, Ham, Noah’s son’s decedents who were cursed (read Genesis 9:24-25 and 10:19).

• We read in Genesis 13:13 “…the men of Sodom were evil, committing great sins against YHVH.”

• And we read in Genesis 18:20 and 19:13 there were a great outcry to YHVH against them and their sin was so serious that YHVH went down to see whether their deeds warrant the outcry He received. Abraham pleaded to God to SAVE the city for the sake of the RIGHTEOUSS people and God agreed that He will do it if He even found only TEN RIGHTEOUSS PEOPLE, but sadly, there were not even ten.

• They are compared to the fallen angels in terms of committing sexual sins and perversions and defiling their own flesh by pursuing unnatural (abnormal, strange) desires. (Jude 1:7).

• They committed adultery, walked in lies and strengthened the hands of evil doers so that no one turns from their evil (no one experienced remorse and therefore no one repented and turned from their sins) Jeremiah 23:14.

• They despised godly authority and insult angelic beings (in Jude 1:9 we are warned not to insult things we do not understand neither thing we do understand. And as example the Adversary, Satan is used that should not be insulted by us, but we are advised rather to request YHVH to rebuke them).

• They proclaim (boast/ brag about) their sin, feeling no shame or remorse and in so doing bringing evil on themselves (Isaiah 3:9).

• Ezekiel also mentions in chapter 16:49-50 that they had the following sins: pride, excess of food (gluttony) and prosperous ease (living in wealth and luxury), but not aiding the poor and needy.

• They were violent (banging down doors and harassing other people). Genesis 19:9.

• The overthrowing awaiting Babylon as prophesied by Isaiah is compared to what happened to Sodom and Gomorrah (Isaiah 13:19)

BUT TAKE NOTE OF A DIRE WARNING FROM YESHUA OUR MESSIAH saying in Matthew 10:15 that it will be more bearable for the people who died in Sodom and Gomorrah on the DAY of JUDGEMENT during the WHITE THRONE JUDGEMENT on the LAST DAY as we read in Revelation 20:11-15 as it will be for those people that DO NOT WANT TO LISTEN TO AND RECEIVE THE GOOD NEWS of SALVATION (read Matthew 10:11-14).  The reason may be that not all the people of Sodom had the opportunity to hear the GOOD NEWS and CHOOSE to TURN from their sin to God’s PEACE and LIGHT, unlike people who have that opportunity and still choose to SIN.

It is explained by Yeshua our Messiah in John 3:16 and 19-20 saying: “For God so LOVED the world that He GAVE HIS only and unique SON, so that EVERYONE who TRUSTS (believe, have faith) in HIM may have ETERNAL LIFE, instead of being utterly destroyed…Now, this is the JUDGEMENT: the LIGHT has come into the world, but people loved the darkness rather than the LIGHT. Why? Because their actions were wicked. For everyone who does evil things hates the LIGHT and AVOIDS it, so that his actions won’t be EXPOSED.”

May we therefore UNDERSTAND the main PURPOSE of OUR GIFTS is, as Paul said in 2^nd Timothy 4:1-5 “I solemnly (seriously) charge you before God (the Father) and the Messiah Yeshua, WHO WILL JUDGE THE LIVNG AND THE DEAD when He appears and establishes His KINGDOM: PROCLAIM the WORD! Be on hand with it whether the time seems right or not. CONVICT (persuade, influence, convince), CENSURE (reprimand, rebuke, warn, lecture) and EXHORT (encourage, inspire) with unfailing PATIENCE (endurance, tolerance, perseverance) and with TEACHING (education, instruction, coaching, training).

So how does the TIME we live in TODAY compare to the TIME of NOAH and the TIME of LOT?

In Isaiah chapter 1 Isaiah use the example of Sodom and Gomorrah to call ISRAEL (the people of of YHVH) to TURN back to Him saying in verses 9-10: “If YHVH TZVAOT (the God of Angel Armies) had not left us a tiny, tiny REMNANT, we would have become like Sodom, we would have resembled Gomorrah. Hear what YHVH says, you rulers of Sodom! LISTEN to GOD (the FATHER’s) TORAH (Genesis to Deuteronomy summed up in the Ten Commandments) you people of Gomorrah!

And in Isaiah 24 we read the PROPHECY on the COMING DESTRUCTION of the earth (a worldwide judgement) with the REASONS being:

“The land lies DEFILED (dishonored/ desecrated, corrupted, ruined) under its inhabitants; because they have TRANSGRESSED (disobeyed) the TEACHINGS (instructions, commands, directives, guidelines), CHANGED (altered, reformed) the LAW (rules, decrees, commandments) and BROKEN (damaged, destroyed) the EVERLASTING (eternal) COVENANT (Isaiah 24:5).

And again we see in Isaiah 24:13 only a few people will sing glory to the Righteous One!

So why do we see in the prophecy of the coming of the final destruction of the earth as well as in BOTH cases in Genesis 6 with Noah and  Genesis 19 with Lot that ONLY a few people (a tiny, tiny remnant as Isaiah puts it) have been saved?

To help us understand it, let’s look at TWO PROTOTYPES: THOSE DESTROYED and THOSE SAVED.

PROTOTYPE 1: THOSE DESTROYED DURING THE CATASTROPHIC EVENTS OF WATER AND FIRE

Could we perhaps say that they, although they had been WARNED by Noah and Lot in their distinctive times, did not HEED (attend to, care about) the WARNINGS because:

• Although they HEARD the MESSAGE (the GOOD NEWS) of the KINGDOM of YHVH, they COULD NOT UNDERSTANDING it due to a HARDENED HEART; and/ or

• Although they HEARD the MESSAGE (the GOOD NEWS) of the KINGDOM of YHVH and maybe ACCEPTED it with JOY at first, did not take time and care to establish themselves firmly in the WORD to ENDURE when HARD and DIFFICULT times were on the horizon; much like the five unwise virgins who did not have extra oil to keep their lamps burning during the night; and/ or 

• Although they HEARD the MESSAGE (the GOOD NEWS) of the KINGDOM of YHVH, it got choked (blocked, stopped) by the WORRIES of the WORLD and the DECEITFUL GLAMOR of WEALTH and the PLEASURES of LIFE.

PROPTOTYPE 2: THOSE SAVED DUE TO BEING PROTECTED BY ABBA FATHER FROM THE WATER AND THE FIRE

Could we perhaps say that they were cleansed from their uncleanness and from their idols by YHVH, because they were willing to die to their old nature, and Abba Father gave them soft hearts with a new human spirit, enabling Abba Father to put His Holy Spirit inside of them and writing His TORAH on their hearts and cause them to LIVE by HIS LAWS (rules, decrees, commandments), RESPECT HIS RULINGS (decisions, verdicts, judgements) and OBEY THEM? (As we read in Ezekiel 36:25-27 and Jeremiah 31:31-33)? And therefore they HEARD the MESSAGE (the GOOD NEWS) of the KINGDOM of YHVH, UNDERSTOOD it and BEAR FRUIT of RIGHTEOUSNESS and in so doing THEIR LIVES WERE SAVED!
