THE FEAST OF DEDICATION (HANUKKAH in Hebrew), also CALLED the FEAST OF LIGHT and the POSSIBLE LINK WITH CHRISTMAS AS CELEBRATED BY THE WORLD

December 2025

Dates for 2025: evening of 14-22 December on the Gregorian calendar (and always 25 Kislev to 2 Tevet on the Bible calendar).

In terms of the WORD of YHVH, DEDICATION is the setting apart of a person, place or object for SACRED (holy, consecrated, sanctified) PURPOSES, signifying a commitment to YHVH and HIS SERVICE.

DEDICATION embodies a profound commitment to God and His purposes, exceeding mere ceremonial (traditional), ritualistic (formalized) acts. It entails OBEDIENCE to GOD which is EQUAL to FAITHFULNESS (closeness, lovingness/ devotion/ dedication/ commitment, truthfulness) to Him because we BELIEVE (trust, have faith in) what YHVH says and therefore we ACT accordingly out of LOVE and RESPECT (FEAR/ REVERENT AWE) for HIM.

Right through the WORD of YHVH the following cycle is observed:

1. The people of YHVH WORSHIP Him at HIS DWELLING PLACE.
2. The enemy demanding to be worshipped by YHVH’s people, through using deceptive (misleading) tactics or force.
3. The enemy desecrates (defiles, vandalizes/ruins, damages/harms) the DWELLING PLACE of YHVH among His people; and
4. YHVH raising up a DELIVERER (a SAVIOR, LIBERATOR) and HIS DWELLING PLACE is then REDEDICATED to HIM and WORSHIP is RESTORED to HIM in accordance to HIS requirements in HIS WORD.

This cycle is clearly visible from GENESIS to REVELATION, but maybe the most OBVIOUS and well known example of this is The FEAST OF DEDICATION (Hanukkah in Hebrew) also known as the FEAST of LIGHT and there is an indication that Yeshua our Messiah kept this feast as He was at the TEMPLE during the FEAST of DEDICATION as we read in John 10:22-23 “Then came Hanukkah (the Feast of Dedication) in Jerusalem. It was winter (always celebrated on 25 Kislev to 2 Tevet on the Biblical Calendar/ December on the Gregorian calendar, falling on different dates each year due to the difference in length between the Gregorian and Biblical calendars), and YESHUA was walking around the TEMPLE area, in Solomon’s Colonnade (porch, row of pillars, arcade, walkway)” This was the same TEMPLE that had been CLEANSED and REDEDICATED under the Maccabees.

Hanukkah is a CELBERATION of DELIVERANCE, and therefore a time of MESSIANIC HOPE – looking forward to THE DAY that YESHUA the MESSIAH will RETURN to SAVE THE PEOPLE OF YHVH from the enemy. Just as the MACCABEES (please consider reading the historical Books of 1^st and 2^nd Maccabees as background), were USED by GOD to REDEEM ISRAEL (REMEMBER: during this period, “ISRAEL” consisted only of the SOUTHERN KINGDOM (the tribe of Judah and Benjamin known as the Jews today), the only recognizable part of the previous KINGDOM of ISRAEL at this time, since the NORTHERN KINGDOM (the TEN TRIBES under Ephraim were totally dispersed/ scattered and integrated/ assimilated into the nations due to their sin against YHVH to a point where it is very difficult to identify them today).

We  must therefore understand that the SOUTHERN KINGDOM (the tribe of Judah and Benjamin known as the Jews today), were well aware of the circumstances occurring in the approximately 400 years between the Old and New Testament period that led to the FEAST of HANUKKAH. They were still under the rule of Rome and EXPECTED the MESSIAH to come as a Maccabee type of SAVIOUR to save them with military action from the rulership and oppression of ROME.

With this UNDERSTANDING, we are able to more fully appreciate the content of John chapter 10 where we read that the Judeans (the Jews) surrounded Yeshua during the FEAST of DEDICATION (Hanukkah) and asked Him, as we read in John 10:24: “How much longer are you going to keep us in suspense? IF YOU ARE THE MESSIAH TELL US PUBLICALLY!” And Yeshua then answers them in verse 25 saying: ”I have ALREADY told you, and you don’t TRUST (believe, have faith in) Me. The WORKS I DO in MY FATHER’s NAME TESTIFY ON MY BEHALF,…”

At the beginning of John chapter 10 YESHUA our MESSIAH explained, during the FEAST of DEDICATION (Hanukkah) the TRUE MEANING of the CYCLE we see right through the WORD, namely:

1. The people of YHVH WORSHIP Him at HIS DWELLING PLACE.

Yeshua says in John 10:2-5: “…the ONE WHO GOES IN THROUGH THE GATE (meaning the GATE of the sheep-pen, a SHELTER for the sheep as a picture of the OUTER COURT of the TABERNACKLE/ TEMPLE), is the sheep’s OWN SHEPHERD. This is THE ONE the GATE-KEEPER admits (acknowledges/ recognizes), and the sheep HEARS HIS VOICE (the gate-keeper was the ONE that controls access to the sheep-pen, it was custom for the SHEPHERD to sleep at the GATE of the sheep-pen in order to PROTECT the SHEEP against THIEF, WHEATHER and WILD BEASTS). HE (the SHEPHERD) CALLS HIS OWN SHEEP, each one by name, and LEADS THEM OUT (to green pastures as described in Psalm 23). After taking out ALL that is HIS OWN, HE GOES ON AHEAD of them; and the SHEEP FOLLOW HIM because they RECOGNIZE HIS VOICE. They NEVER follow a stranger but will RUN AWAY from him, because stranger’s voices are UNFAMILIAR to them.”

And in verse 9 Yeshua confirms that: “I AM THE GATE; if someone ENTERS TROUGH ME, he WILL BE SAFE (He will protect this person) and I WILL GO IN and OUT and FIND PASTURE (Yeshua will be in relationship with and provide for this person).

The SHEPHERD of the SHEEP therefore DWELLS with HIS SHEEP! He knows them and they know Him. HE LEADS them and goes out BEFORE them and they only FOLLOW HIS VOICE. And HE PROTECTS (defends, guards, shield) them and PROVIDES for them.

2.  The enemy demanding to be worshipped by YHVH’s people, through using deceptive (misleading) tactics or force.

Yeshua warns in John 10:1 and 8 “Yes indeed! I tell you, the person who doesn’t enter the sheep-pen through THE DOOR (a reference to the entrance of the HOLY PLACE of the TABERNACLE/ TEMPLE), but climbs in some other way, is a THIEF and a ROBBER (therefore someone with bad intentions). ALL those who have come BEFORE ME (referring to anti-messiahs, antichrist figures), have been THIEFS and ROBBERS, but the SHEEP (those who KNOWS the SHEPHERD’S VOICE through HIS WORD, didn’t listen to them).

3. The enemy desecrates (defiles, vandalizes/ruins, damages/harms) the DWELLING PLACE of YHVH among His people.

Yeshua then explains in John 10:10a-13 “The THIEF comes ONLY in order to STEAL, KILL and DESTROY (we know from John 8:44 and Revelation 12:9-12, who this THIEF is, namely Satan who was a MURDERER of people from the beginning and he has NEVER stand for the TRUTH, because there is NO truth in him, therefore he is a DECEIVER and ACCUSER of mankind). Yeshua further explains from verses 12-13 “The HIRED HAND (…the person under Satan’s control, the one masquerading as an angel of light, the anti-messiah, antichrist like figures and his other human servants as we read in 2^nd Corinthians 11:14-15, Matthew 7:15 and Acts 20:29 masquerades as servants of righteousness and wolf in sheep clothing teaching perversions/ misrepresentations of the TRUTH), since he isn’t a shepherd and the sheep aren’t his own, (so if he) SEES the WOLF (danger, possibly a reference to Satan and his evil forces, including false pastors, prophets, teachers and apostles) coming, abandons (deserts, forsakes) the sheep and runs away. THEN the WOLF DRAGS them off and SCATTERS (disseminates) them. The HIRED-WORKER behaves like this because that’s all he is, a HIRED-WORKER; so it doesn’t matter to him what happens to the sheep. Next,

4. YHVH raises up a DELIVERER (a SAVIOR, LIBERATOR) and HIS DWELLING PLACE is then REDEDICATED to HIM and WORSHIP is RESTORED to HIM in accordance to HIS requirements in HIS WORD.

Yeshua says in John 10:10b-11, 14-15 and 17-18 “…;I HAVE COME so that they (the sheep) may HAVE LIFE. I AM THE GOOD SHEPHERD. THE GOOD SHEPHERD LAYS DOWN HIS LIFE for the sheep…I AM THE GOOD SHEPHERD; I KNOW MY OWN AND THEY KNOW ME – JUST AS THE FATHER KNOWS ME, and I KNOW THE FATHER – and I LAY DOWN MY LIFE on behalf of the sheep. This is WHY THE FATHER LOVES ME; because I LAY DOWN MY LIFE – in order to TAKE IT UP AGAIN! No one takes it away from Me; on the contrary, I LAY IT DOWN of MY OWN FREE WILL. I have THE POWER to LAY it DOWN, and I have THE POWER to TAKE IT UP AGAIN. This is what MY FATHER COMMANDED ME TO DO. (Also read Yeshua’s prayer for His disciples in John chapter 17).

We therefore clearly see here that YESHUA is the DELIVERER RAISED UP by THE FATHER to SAVE HIS PEOPLE. YESHUA was the fulfiller of GOD, the FATHER’s ETERNAL PLAN for the ENTIRE WORD in which HE would HUMBLE HIMSELF by taking HUMAN FORM and DYING for the SINS of HUMANITY (read John 1:1-2 & 14, Philippians 2:6-11). Yeshua gave SEVERAL PREDICTIONS of HIS impending death for this PURPOSE in the NEW TESTAMENT (read John 12:23-36, 13:33, 16:28, Matthew 10:28, 16:21, 17:22-23 and 20:17-19), as well as PROPHECIES in the TANAKH (OLD TESTAMENT) indicating the MESSIAH would DIE and BE RESURECTED (Isaiah 53:1-12, Psalm 16:8-11).

We read Yeshua saying in John 10:16 “Also I have OTHER SHEEP which are not from this pen (this house, therefore not of the HOUSE of JUDAH and BENJAMIN but from the HOUSE OF ISRAEL including all people grafted into ISRAEL according to Romans 11:17); I need to bring them, and they will hear MY VOICE; and there will be ONE FLOCK (ONE WHOLE HOUSE OF ISRAEL), (and) ONE SHEPHERD (YESHUA the MESSIAH).”

So we clearly see in John 10:16 the reference to the TWO KINGDOMS of ISRAEL – the SOUTHERN and NORTHERN KINGDOMS (including believers from all nations, languages and population groups) JOINED again into ONE ISRAEL by YESHUA the MESSIAH’s death on the cross and THROUGH HIM both has access in ONE SPIRIT (the HOLY SPIRIT) to the FATHER as we read in Ephesians 2:14-18 and Colossians 1:21-22. And they ULTIMATELY will be joined into ONE KINGDOM again during HIS SECOND COMING in the THOUSAND YEAR REIGN of YESHUA the MESSIAH and thereafter for ETERNITY (read the prophecy in Ezekiel chapter 37).

PLEASE REMEMBER: ALL nations, tongues/ languages and tribes/ population groups accepting YESHUA the MESSIAH as their SAVIOR and FOLLOWING HIM are regarded as ABBA FATHER’s ISRAEL. (read Galatians 6:15-16 and Revelation 5:9, 7:9 and 14:6).

The answer of Yeshua to the question asked by the JUDEANS (the Jews), if HE IS THE PROMISED MESSIAH to SAVE THEM FROM THEIR ENEMIES in John 10:24 then makes perfect sense! We read Yeshua’s answer to them in John 10:25-26 “…I have ALREADY told you, and you don’t TRUST (believe, have faith in) Me. The WORKS I DO in MY FATHER’s NAME TESTIFY ON MY BEHALF, but the REASON you don’t TRUST (believe, have faith) is that you are NOT included among MY SHEEP.” Please note, this applies to ALL people from ALL NATIONS, LANGUAGES and POPULATION GROUPS who CHOOSE not to BELIEVE in YEHSUA the MESSIAH and consequently NOT to FOLLOW HIM and therefore they are NOT included among Yeshua the Messiah’s sheep.

And in John 10:27-28a Yeshua explains his answer to them, namely: MY SHEEP LISTEN TO MY VOICE (to HIS WORD), I RECOGNIZE THEM, THEY FOLLOW ME, and I GIVE THEM ETERNAL LIFE. (We can therefore see the different roles of the partners in COVENANT – the sheep/ the believer LISTENS to the WORD of GOD and they FOLLOW it in OBEDIENCE in the FOOTSTEPS of THE SHEPHERD, YESHUA their MESSIAH and HE RECOGNIZES them and GIVE THEM ETERNAL LIFE).

And Yeshua further says in verses 28b-30: “They will ABSOLUTELY (without question) NEVER BE DESTROYED, and NO one WILL SNATCH them out of MY HANDS. MY FATHER, WHO GAVE THEM TO ME, IS GREATER THAN ALL; and NO one can SNACH them from THE FATHER’s HANDS”. I AND THE FATHER ARE ONE (REMEMBER: YESHUA the MESSIAH is the BODY of GOD THE FATHER WHO IS A SPIRIT, read Isaiah 9:6, John 4:24, 14:10 and Colossians 2:9).

There is therefore a CLEAR CONNECTION between HANUKKAH (the Feast of Dedication) and the FIRST COMING and therefore the BIRTH of MESSIAH YESHUA! We know that the DELIVERER was PROMISED by YHVH the FATHER through the LINE OF KING DAVID, thus meaning through the TRIBE OF JUDAH (read Isaiah 11:1, Jeremiah 23:5, Micah 5:2, Hebrews 7:14 and Revelation 5:5). As discussed the SOUTHERN KINGDOM, consisting ONLY of the TRIBES of JUDAH and BENJAMIN (known since New Testament times to date as THE JEWS) was the only PREVAILING PART of the KINGDOM of ISRAEL at the time of the BIRTH of MESSIAH YESHUA! And was it not for YHVH the FATHER’s INTERVENTION, with raising up the Maccabees as “savior” of the SOUTHERN KINGDOM of ISRAEL, to conquer Antiochus (an anti-messiah/ antichrist type of figure), the JEWS (the TRIBE of JUDAH) would have been integrated/ assimilated into Rome, abandoning YHVH and HIS WAYS and would have been unrecognizable just as the NOURTHERN KINGDOM (the TEN TRIBES under EPHRAIM are today) and the BIRTH of MESSIAH YESHUA would have been in jeopardy! Therefore, the FEAST of DEDICATION is indeed a JOYOUS FEATS to be KEPT, not only by the JEWS but indeed by the WHOLE WORLD because YESHUA our MESSIAH (THE GOOD SHEPHERD of THE SHEEP) was BORN to DIE FOR THE SINS OF THE WHOLE WORLD (for ALL SHEEP/ all mankind who went astray due to DECEPTION by the evil enemy)!

The TRUE LIGHT REPRESENTED by YESHUA the MESSIAH, known as THE LIGHT of THE WORLD (John 8:12) was in all probability CONCEIVED during the FEAST of HANUKKAH (that would have been during the winter in the LAND of ISRAEL, since it is confirmed in John 10:22 that Hanukkah was celebrated in winter) as a SPARK of LIGHT. Scientists have in recent years captured images of the FLASH of LIGHT that SPARKS at the very moment of CONCEPTION when a human sperm cell makes contact with an egg. And although there were no sperm cells involved at the conception of Yeshua, the HOLY SPIRIT, a SOURCE of GOD’s POWER and LIGHT came upon Mary as we read in Luke 1:34:35 and we can be very sure that it happened as a FLASH of SPARKING LIGHT! An Yeshua was BORN nine months later on the FEAST of TABERNACLES: YHVH’s SEVENTH FEAST, in summer (in land of ISRAEL) as it is indicated in the WORD that the shepherds were out in the field with their sheep during night time when they saw the angels announcing the BIRTH of YESHUA the MESSIAH (read Luke 2:8-9).

So although THE FEAST OF DEDICATION therefore is not one of the SEVEN FEASTS as described in Leviticus 23 commanded by YHVH in His Word to keep; it was a FEAST, in NEW TESTAMENT times celebrated with GREAT JOY and with much LIGHT and may be the misrepresented (distorted) feast of CHRISTMAS that the world celebrates today. But sadly because of the lack of knowledge about the TWO KINGDOMS of ISRAEL and the DECEPTION of CHRISTMAS and the symbols forming part of it, BELIEVERS who are informed about the THE FEAST of DEDICATION, called HANUKKAH in HEBREW, view it as STRICTLY a JEWISH FEAST, only meant for the TRIBE OF JUDAH (and BENJAMIN, known as the SOUTHERN KINGDOM) and they DISCARD it, opting to CELEBRATE the counterfeit, watered down feast of CHRISTMAS/ XMAS the WHOLE WORLD keep even though they worship other small letter gods or NOT KEEPING the FEAST at ALL in any form and thereby ROBBING YHVH of WORSHIP and ROBBING themselves of JOY and HOPE!

So should we CELEBRATE YESHUA our MESSIAH, the LIGHT of GOD the FATHER, who came into the WORLD to SHINE on THOSE in DARKNESS and TRANSFER us from DARKNESS to HIS MARVELOUS LIGHT? (Read Isaiah 9:2 and confirmed by Yeshua in Matthew 4:16, also  read John 1:4-5, 8:12, 12:35 & 46,  2^nd Corinthians 4:6 and 1^st Peter 2:9) INDEED and without any doubt! But we must KEEP it UNDEFILED (not mixing the worldly with the set-apart things of Abba Father, therefore NOT eating of the TREE of GOOD and EVIL but ONLY EATING from the TREE OF LIFE) and therefore KEEP THE FEAST in ACCORDANCE to ABBA FATHER’s WAYS as depicted in HIS WORD!

In 1^st Corinthians 6:19-20 Paul explains that BELIEVERS are the TEMPLES of the RUACH HaKODESH (The HOLY SPIRIT) WHO LIVES INSIDE us as RECEIVED from GOD the FATHER. And BELIEVERS do NOT belong to themselves because they were bought at a price with the PRECIOUS BLOOD of THE LAMB of GOD the FATHER, YEHSUA the MESSIAH and therefore our BODIES should be used to GLORIFY GOD (also read Peter’s explanation in 1^st Peter 1:18-19).

The Complete Jewish Study Bible – Insight for Jews and Christians explains that as with ALL the FEASTS of YHVH, there are SPIRITUAL LESSONS to be learned from HANUKKAH (the FEAST of DEDICATION) – lessons about LIGHT, COURAGE and FAITH. Perhaps the most vital LESSON is REDEDICATION of THE TEMPLE to YHVH the FATHER. HANUKKAH commemorates a TIME when the TRUE WORSHIP of GOD was RESTORED in JERUSALEM.  The SECOND TEMPLE was DESTROYED in 70 AD and never rebuild to date. The reason being that THE HEART of EACH BELIEVER and FOLLOWER of YESHUA the MESSIAH is THE TEMPLE of YHVH where HIS HOLY SPIRIT DWELLS. But, too often, BELIEVERS endanger the PURITY of THEMSELVES as the TEMPLE by allowing idolatry into their LIVES, just as the JEWS did under the Roman reign of Antiochus Epiphanes.  

The FEAST of DEDICATION also seems to SERVE, like all SEVEN FEASTS of YHVH, as PREPARATION for BELIEVERS for this cycle DURING the END TIME as PROPHECIED in THE WORD where the enemy aims to DESCERCRATE the HUMAN TEMPLES of God the FATHER and THE FATHER will raise up a DELIVERER and ultimately REDEDICATION  of HIS TEMPLE will take place. We know from the Book of Revelation the ultimate cycle will be the anti-messiah/ antichrist desecrating the HUMAN TEMPLES of YHVH and YESHUA our MESSIAH DELIVERING God’s set-apart people. Until HIS SECOND COMING, the BELIEVERS will CONQUER Satan with the Lamb’s Blood and their message of their witness and even when facing death will not cling to their lives and we also read that the dragon (Satan) are infuriated with those OBEYING GOD’s (ABBA FATHER’s) COMMANDMENTS and BEAR WITNESS to YESHUA the MESSIAH. But YEHSUA will DELIVER BELIEVERS FOLLOWING HIM in TRUTH and in SPIRIT during His SECOND COMING and ESTABLISH HIS KINGDOM during HIS MILLENIAL RULE (Read Revelation chapters 12 and 16-20).

So could THE FEAST OF DEDICATION perhaps be a CULMINATION of the SEVEN FEASTS of YHVH? All SEVEN FEASTS lead us BACK form the BROADWAY where we defiled our TEMPLES (the human body, soul and spirit, comparing to the TABERNACLE/ TEMPLE with its outer court, Holy Place and Holiest Place) of YHVH to REDEDICATION of our TEMPLES to HIM as our only GOD!

As we know HANUKKAH, the FEAST of DEDICATION, also known as THE FEAST OF LIGHT is PORTRAYED by the MENORAH (the seven branched golden lampstand in the HOLY PLACE of the TEMPLE) that had to be RELIT in the REDEDICATED SECOND TEMPLE after it had been snuffed out by the enemy as part of the TEMPLE DESECRATION. Likewise, our evil enemy wants to snuff out the MENORAH (a representation of the FIRE of the HOLY SPIRIT) in our HUMAN TMEPLES! And he succeeds doing it by leading is by deception into a life of willful sin!

HOW CAN WE CELEBRATE THE FEAST of DEDICATION in ABBA FATHER’s WAY?

The following ideas may be considered by you and your family:

• Fill your HOUSE with LIGHT during the EIGHT DAY FEAST – lit LAMPS and CANDLES CELEBRATING YESHUA THE MESSIAH as THE TRUE LIGTH that came to SHINE on us and our FAMILIES who once have been in DARKNESS, until we SAW and EXPERIENCED and ACCEPTED the LIGHT of HIS SALVATION and were TRANSFERRED from DARKNESS to HIS MARVELOUS LIGHT (Read Ephesians 5:8-20 and Romans 13:11-14).

• Search as a FAMILY for ALL the SCRIPTURES on LIGHT in the WORD, discuss it each evening while you LIGHT a CANDLE or LAMP and think on it and even consider memorizing it to carry you through the DARK DAYS that is already on this earth and will only intensify as we move closer to the end.

• Don’t be discouraged if you don’t do everything correct or have missed a few days or are even challenged by family. REMEMBER, all of us have LOST our WAY and are FINDING our WAY BACK with the GUIDANCE of the HOLY SPIRIT and HE IS LEADING us STEP-BY-STEP, until our lives becomes LIGHTER and BRIGHTER like the LIGHT of DAWN (early morning) until FULL DAYLIGHT (as described in: Proverbs 4:18). So please be patient with yourselves as well as other family members, friends, colleagues and even strangers who may not have full understanding at this yet. ALWAYS REMEMBER the GOLDEN RULE: LOVE your NEIGHBOUR, meaning don’t HARM them in any way, also not by JUDGING them because they may still follow certain Christmas traditions not endorsed by Abba Father. In all things we have to PURSUE PEACE with everyone as far as it is possible for us as well as HOLINESS without which NO one will see God (read Psalm 34:14, Romans 12:17-21 and Hebrews 12:14). And this in itself is PART of HIS LIGHT in us. REMEMBER this does not mean we DO as those that don’t yet understand the TRUTH, but that we LOVE and CHERISH and RESPECT them as people who are making their own decisions and are on their own JOURNEY with ABBA FATHER and therefore TRUST ABBA FATHER for HIS PERFECT TIMING. Our Messiah expects THE MENORAH to be CONTINUALY LIT in us and SPREADING HIS LIGHT (Mathew 5:4). PROOF of THIS LIGHT in our LIVES are BEARING THE FRUITS of THE SPIRIT of LOVE, JOY, PEACE, PATIENCE, KINDNESS, GOODNESS, FAITHFULNESS, HUMILIY and SELF-CONTROL (Galatians 5:22-23).

• Also be sure to PRAY for ABBA FATHER’s REVELATION and LIGHT on your OWN LIFE and asking the HOLY SPIRIT to reveal HIDDEN idols that you can repent of and turn away from and COMMIT to ABBA FATHER to REDEICATE your LIFE again to HIM as your ONLY GOD. And PRAY for FAMILY members who may still be SPIRITUALY BLIND and DEAF, for ABBA FATHER to REVEAL HIS WORD to them and SHINE HIS LIGHT on them and open their MIINDS and HEARTS of UNDERSTANDING (Luke 24:45, Acts 26:18 and Ephesians 1:17-19).

• Take a DECISION as FAMILY to REDEDICATE our LIVES, including our BODIES, SOUL and SPIRIT as HIS TEMPLE, OUR HOMES, OUR RELATONSHIPS and EVERYTHNG else HE BLESSES us with, to ABBA FATHER.

• USE this SPECIAL FAMILY TIME of JOY to AGAIN CULTIVATE (nurture, promote, encourage) a PASSION (desire and hunger) for YHVH and HIS WORD. Consider FASTING from TV, SOCIA MEDIA, VIDEO GAMES and the like and FOCUSS your attention on ENJOYING TIME with your LOVED ONES. And if you do not have FAMILY, don’t despair, ABBA is OUR FAMILY, LIT a CANDLE each evening, PRAISE and WORSHIP HIM and FELLOWSHIP with HIM in HIS WORD (read Isaiah 54:5, psalm 27:10, Matthew 12:49-50 and Mark 4:34-35).
