PREPARATION FOR THE THIRD SEASON FEASTS OF YHVH DURING THE MONTH OF ELUL

Elul 1 (14 August 2026)

In PREPARATION for THE LAST THREE FEASTS OF YHVH for 2026 we will, during the MONTH of ELUL (14 August to 11 September) work through the LETTERS of the GLORIFIED MESSIAH YESHUA to the SEVEN CONGREGATIONS/ TYPES of BELIEVERS.

We read in Revelation 1:10-12a John received the instruction from Messiah Yeshua to write down what he see and send it to the SEVEN MESSIANIC COMMUNITIES/ CONGREGATIONS. And John saw the following vision of MESSIAH YESHUA:

• He saw SEVEN GOLD MENORAH’s (seven branched lamp stands); and among them someone like a SON of MAN, wearing a robe down to His feet and a gold band around His chest (verses 12b-13). And in verse 20 a & c the secret meaning of the GOLDEN MENORAH’S are revealed, the SEVEN MENORAH’S are the SEVEN MESSIANIC COMMUNITIES/ CONGREGATIONS.

The Complete Jewish Study Bible – Insight for Jews & Christians explains: Yeshua fulfils THREE MAIN OFFICES set forth in the Tanakh (the Old Testament): PROPHET, PRIEST and KING. During His life on earth, Yeshua served as PROPHET (Matthew 21:11). At present He serves as HIGH PRIEST in HEAVEN (Hebrews 2:17-3:6, 4:14-5:10 & 6:20-10:21). This is signified by Him wearing a long robe and a gold band around His chest, the clothing of the high priest as we read in Exodus 28. The rest of the description in Revelation 1:14-15 suggests His future role as JUDGE and MESSIANIC KING.

• His HEAD and HAIR were as white as snow-white wool, HIS EYES like a FIERY FLAME, HIS FEET BURNISHED BRASS refined in a furnace, and HIS VOICE like the sound of RUSHING WATERS (verses 14-15).

The Complete Jewish Study Bible – Insight for Jews & Christians explains: In Daniel 7:9-10 it is the “Ancient of Days”, referring to GOD THE FATHER, who is described with similar language, thus confirming, Yeshua’s identification with YHVH the Father.

In Revelation 19:11-12 Yeshua, at His second coming is described as the KING coming to JUDGE in RIGHTEOUSNESS and CONQUERING the wicked, as He is again described with EYES like A FIERY FLAME. God the Father has entrusted all judgement to Him until all His enemies has been subdued (read 1^st Corinthians 15:23-28). It is therefore clear that the letters to the SEVEN CONGREGATIONS are giving them time to REPENT, before HE WILL COME AS THE RIGHTEOUSS JUDGE.

• In HIS RIGHT HAND HE HELD SEVEN STARS (verse 16a) And in verse 20 a & b, the secret meaning of the SEVEN STARS are as the angels (messengers) of the SEVEN CONGREGATIONS. 

• OUT OF HIS MOUTH went a DOUBL-EDGED SWORD, and HIS FACE was like the sun shining in full strength (verse 16). We read in Hebrews 4:12 that this DOUBLE-EDGED SWORD is in fact THE WORD OF GOD! And again, we read in Revelation 19:15 KING YESHUA, at HIS SECOND COMING is coming to strike the nations down with HIS DOUBLE-EDGED SWORD, THE WORD! 

• HE IS THE FIRST (the Aleph in Hebrew and the Alpha in Greek) and THE LAST (the Tav in Hebrew and the Omega in Greek) (verse 17).

• HE IS THE LIVING ONE. He was dead but resurrected on the third day as the FIRSTFRUIT and HE IS ALIVE FOREVER! And HE HOLD THE KEYS to DEATH and SHEOL (the place of the dead), meaning HE HAS AUTHORITY over DEATH and the place of the dead and therefore ETERNAL LIFE is secured through HIM, death is no longer a threat for believers in Him, HE GOVERNS ALL ASPECT of LIFE and the AFTERLIFE with SOVEREIGN POWER (verse 18).
